He's been useless so far this season. - Pecafan Fan
?
His PPG is way ahead of his career so far and even ahead of his best year PPG (last year).
You may have expected more...but I don't think he is useless.
Playing with Desharnais, who seems off to a slow start may not be helping.
Also, do the Habs have a new coach? New system? |

Yeah, he is just one of those guys who I expect to be "done" all of a sudden. Every year you wonder if this is the year he falls off the cliff.
These are the guys I have a habit of picking in a pool... the same year that they actually encounter said cliff. - Aetherial

Two more observations from last night's game:
- Phanuef was - once again - the best defenceman on the ice (both teams). Anyone who suggests otherwise has an agenda, and is probably wearing agenda glasses from Eklund Optical.
- How 'bout that short-handed Reimer save? So far, save of the year. - Atomic Wedgie
I totally agree on Phaneuff. The guys eats up big minutes against everyoens top guy...Takes a lot of criticism. Sure he has issues hitting night at times with shots.. But he is a horse |

Orr is about to catch up with Phil Kessel. - Pecafan Fan
No doubt about it, Kessel has been awful this year. Simply horrible.
Of course, he still has more points than any Hab, but still... |

Not as good as me trading for Ovechkin in the offseason before he imploded (keeper league). That's ok though, I have Giroux on that same roster to keep me afloat...

My best Pool accomplishment...
Last year, In a 20-round, 10 guy pool.
My last 3 picks were:
Karlsson
Pacioretty
Filppula
My bottom 2 had more points than my first 2 picks (Getzlaf and someone?) |

Everyone thinks of Gretzky as the greatest playmaker in the world - yeah, he had a lot of assists.
But let's not forget that Gretzky also scored 92 goals one year.
So am I comparing Gretky to Kessel?
Absolutely.
Except Kessel has more speed.
And they both have terrible hair. |

I think it's pretty obvious in watching Luke Schenn play, what his potential is. As well as knowing how important that type of player is, in building a top team. - MJL
We all knew this guy wasn't quite right, but his bromance with Schenn is getting a little weird - even for MJL. |

Gretzky's daughter is hotter. Maybe Kessel can adopt one day.

He is doing OK for me also in a Category pool. Off hand I don't know who is leading the category though.
He gets decent points, every year. He is usually a good pick because he tends to fly under the radar. |
