Anyone have a link to where I can see that epic pay-per-view of the Dozzer/Leafman/muffinman/Howrad Fatal Four-Way Deathmatch of February 2013?

Muffinman took Saturday's loss just a little too personally.

The little guy needs a hug.

With the way Fraser and Holzer gives you sandpaper back there, I'm starting to think Gardiner replaces Liles.

Well if you look at our depth chart as of the last couple games.

Phaneuf Holzer

Liles Kostka

Fraser Franson

Gunnarsson(IR) Komisarek

Gardiner(AHL)

To take Gunnarsson off IR we have to make a roster move. Obviously, as most of you should know, you can only have 23 guys on your roster. Our 3 extras are eaten up by Komisarek,Steckel and Brown. Something is going to have to give. You would think it would be Fraser going out but he is making a serious case.

It's tough when you have 3 Marlies in your top 6 playing their hearts out every night. We may have to send Holzer back down because he doesn't have to clear waivers, just a numbers game. But even he is making a serious case as a stay at home d-man with Phaneuf. Then when Lupul comes back he'll have another decision to make. I'm liking McLaren a little better than Brown

Steckle and Komi to Edm for whatever

Two more observations from last night's game:

- Phanuef was - once again - the best defenceman on the ice (both teams). Anyone who suggests otherwise has an agenda, and is probably wearing agenda glasses from Eklund Optical.

- How 'bout that short-handed Reimer save? So far, save of the year.

Steckel will most likely have to go at some point

Lupul Bozak Kessel

JVR Grabo Kulemin

Komarov Kadri Frattin

McLaren McClement Orr

Brown

Notice who doesn't fit in there when were healthy? MacArthur is a UFA in July and doesn't fit in the long term plans. You have to think theres only a matter of time til he's dealt for a draft pick or two.

Phaneuf Holzer

Liles Kostka

Fraser Franson

Gunnarsson Komisarek

In a shortened season, defense depth is key. There will be bumps and bruises. But, that would mean Gardiner will be staying down all season, burning his 2nd year of his 3 year Entry level. You have to think there comes a point when Nonis considers using the accelerated compliance buyout and just gets him out of there to open the roster spot.

The biggest change of all is the differnce in the TEAM play, covering for guys moving out of position, back checking, the positional play that makes the differnce in the team for this year and last year..

COACHING, does the team good.

Yup, Giroux was invisible. Could have been due to Dion's 27 minutes.

And Reimer has looked really athletic this year. Reminds me of the season he broke into the league. That save he nearly made against Carolina (puck crossed the line by a quarter inch) would have been the highlight of the year, for sure, and you could have been safe declaring that even in February.

His lateral movement has been unreal. And he sure tuned up his glove hand over the break.

Here's an odd little statistic for you to ponder, my Leafy friends:

The Leafs do not have a single guy in the top 30 in scoring.

But they have four guys in the top 44.

It's weird, but I like it.

- Atomic Wedgie

What i find strange, after the Kessel deal in which we found out +/- is now the most important stat in hockey, as per Habs, Oilers, Sens and Canucks fans, we now hav the best defenseman in the NHL in Mark Fraser. He's gonna be looking at Weber salary figures soon.
