It is, then he pops back over to the Oilers thread to report back. I honestly don't know how him and two for truth get away with constantly riling up a fanbase - walshyleafsfan

Oh, yeah, opponents really fear the Oilers! I bet the circle Smid on the scouting report!
Edmonton has a glaring hole on its blue line and that is the absence of anyone to watch out for. They have nobody who punishes you for taking liberties.
The city was practically ready to shut down for a holiday to celebrate Fistric's arrival, for crying out loud.
As much flak as Phaneuf takes, he's a big, bruising defenseman that Giroux, Ovechkin, and Crosby have to wear like a shirt.
Take it from Leafs fans who had to learn this stuff the hard way: if you want a small top 6, you'd better have grit everywhere else in the line-up. If you want to groom guys like Frattin and Kadri, you get yourself a guy like Komarov. - Leeman4Gilmour
I really like these Marlies call ups too. They have made the other team keep their heads up in the Leafs zone, something that hasn't happened for quite some time.
I like Gunner and Gardiner but who do you delete to get them back in the rotation? Hard work should be rewarded, Carlyle does that.

Bozak is the number one centre.
This team is as deep on forward as any team in the league.
If a trade needs to be made, they could use a decent defensemen to pair with Phanuef.
Otherwise, as I said in the summer and last year too, this is a young exciting team to watch and the building process is going great.

For the past six years, we had no improvement.

Yeah, I do think that if there's anything in the works with Edmonton, it's involving a defenseman.
The Leafs have a log-jam and a few guys that won't clear waivers if we have to send them down. |

I'll take warranted criticism. There's plenty to go around.
Plenty.

Gunnarsson might be the one to go once healthy, and I really like him but it can't be for a roster player, we have too many, it has to be pick(s). |

Here's an odd little statistic for you to ponder, my Leafy friends:
The Leafs do not have a single guy in the top 30 in scoring.
But they have four guys in the top 44.
It's weird, but I like it. |

lots of depth this year, where most years our third line is lucky to get 10 goals. |

Well if you look at our depth chart as of the last couple games.
Phaneuf Holzer
Liles Kostka
Fraser Franson
Gunnarsson(IR) Komisarek
Gardiner(AHL)
To take Gunnarsson off IR we have to make a roster move. Obviously, as most of you should know, you can only have 23 guys on your roster. Our 3 extras are eaten up by Komisarek,Steckel and Brown. Something is going to have to give. You would think it would be Fraser going out but he is making a serious case.
It's tough when you have 3 Marlies in your top 6 playing their hearts out every night. We may have to send Holzer back down because he doesn't have to clear waivers, just a numbers game. But even he is making a serious case as a stay at home d-man with Phaneuf. Then when Lupul comes back he'll have another decision to make. I'm liking McLaren a little better than Brown |
