All I said is we shouldn't bank on Whitney this year. Should have a defense that is designed without him.

There is two issues with Whitney.

- Can he stay healthy? It's not only about him getting taken out and being on the IR for a month, he comes in and plays at less than 100% a lot.

- He is a guy that has had problems in the past with getting up to game shape. Would the lockout once again put him behind the 8ball and cause a slow start?


I didn't however expect him to be in the lineup and be a complete disaster even when not skating. His passing percentage is worse than laughs college marks. His positioning was also hurting. Granted I don't care when he gets burned by a Jagr, he needs to be in the right spot more often.

The other problem we now have is Potter. Not exactly a better option. Have no issue moving Whitney, but we really don't have anyone that makes us better.

Admittedly Id be an awful ref. Id get bored one day and ban everyone just for fun.

Out of Oilers postersm Morris for sure. Salvo might be good as well.

I like the 4th line, i'm calling a goal from Eager, Nuge, Yaks and Gags. We lose 6-4.

Does anybody besides me think Potter is absolute trash!? I thought Krueger was sitting Whitney to try and jump start him a bit, not because he actually thinks he has a better chance to win without him. I guess we'll see.
