I know Edmonton fans like to talk about the pieces they would move to improve their team. Some trades make sense others dont, but what i think it really comes down to is the organization firing Steve Tambellini.

Edmonton was uncompetitive for 3 years in a row and didnt obtain any help through trades or FA during that period. This resulted in 3 first overall draft picks where Edmonton took the best player each year. But what about the 31st overall picks?

Tyler Pitlick (C) 2010
David Musil (D) 2011
Mitch Moroz (LW) 2012

These are all pretty high draft picks, and none seem like they will turn out. More importantly though, why arent all these picks Defense? How can a GM use all of their best picks on forwards and completely ignore defense? Perhaps the GM that created a team that finished dead last for 3 seasons shouldnt be the one to continue running it with 3 first overall picks on the roster.

I have always been elite, I just think internet moderating is a joke, especially with how its done. I make racist comments I get banned for 3 weeks, I make fun of Cloutier I get banned for 3 months, the priorities on the internet are messed. It seems like this is the only place where you aren't allowed to voice your opinion about someone doing a bad job, if I go to a restaurant and my food is terrible I complain but I don't get banned from the restaurant. Anyways we will see how long I am banned for this time for saying things whitey isn't ready to hear.

Whitney very frustrated and not feeling great about his future in Edmonton. Says he wont ask for a trade, but thinks its a possibility.

That and there was a tweet about how the Oilers were outshot 40-14 without him, so he sees what they think about him.
