It doesn't matter. If Boyes were here, and Stafford went elsewhere, we'd be griping about how Stafford has 12 points right now. This team is simply a mess chemistry wise, and that falls on coaching.

It doesn't matter. If Boyes were here, and Stafford went elsewhere, we'd be griping about how Stafford has 12 points right now. This team is simply a mess chemistry wise, and that falls on coaching.

I think Fletcher would hang up the phone with that proposal. Coyle is going no where they really like him, hence why he is 1st line and 1st PP unit. Watched him a lot in college he is going to be very good.

so you put him wiht foligno and stafford and then ennis is down with two checking wingers? that makes no sense. the kid has to learn how to not be a turn over machine and play team defense, he's probably not going to score much anyways his first year. next year, after figuring out the nhl game more, he'll be a beast.

the original line was supposed to be ott-grigo-leino, that makes a lot of sense, but with leino out it messes things up adn they have to make due.

I don't think we need a crazy move like Perry, Ryan, etc...
They'd be nice, but wouldn't address our major issues

Add a guy like Giordano to help solidify the defense

Trade for Dubinsky & Helm
Secondary scoring, grit & most importantly both good at faceoffs
Everything starts w the faceoff
Puck possession allows us to attack more,
Which means more scoring, and less time spent in our own zone which will help out the defense as well
And both those guys play well in their own zone

I don't think any of those moves will cost more than picks/prospects either
