Rinaldo was pretty quiet tonight.
#OrrMcLarenFraser - The Law
well he tried to go after Phaneuf a bit, and got a face full of ice... hard |

still a better third liner than brown
sorry.. but that just doesnt make sense at all. - Dozzer
MacA is just a placeholder, he doesn't really bring anything special to the lineup.
Brown brings a strong defensive and physical presence. |

true...
I'm still considering 3rd line _____-Kadri-Frattin though. Briownie's stone hands is a waste of Kadri's setups... - Big_Lightnin
9 times out of 10, Kadri is passing to Frattin just like when Komarov was just hitting and going to the net on that line. |
|
|
|
Brown does not finish that sweet saucer pass from Kadri tonight.
That's a guarantee. - Pen15
He would have been in the penalty box or injured from losing a fight. Oh, wait. |

Brown has no finish.
MacA has some finish...that's what he brings...scoring depth...on a team with very little in terms of grade A offensive talent. |

Amazing how that works. Rinaldo was probably hoping for a lightweight to beat up instead... because that's a great deterrent after all. |

we're trading him when Lupul comes back - Big_Lightnin
Assuming we have NO injuries when Lupul gets back, what would the expected return for Mac even be? |

We finally have depth at all positions.
Why the rush to trade all these guys? It's a good situation to be in. |

Don't get me wrong....I love Brown. He's all heart. But he's heart on the 4th line, not on our 3rd. |

0 points and 29 PIM.
brown is what he is. but there is certainly no need to force a guy out of the lineup just to make room for him. we all like brown.. but his play does not warrant that at all. - Dozzer
That's my point. Brown doesn't bring any more to the table than McClaren at this point. UG was arguing that we need a middleweight so the rats of the league will actually fight him. My argument was that if they're willing to fight him, he's not deterring them from being rats anyway. |

and according to tonight, that tenth time he throws it to mac and it results in a goal
go figure. |

So a 20 goal scorer, who back checks and kills penalties is worth a 2nd in your world? - Pen15
yes ....or a top notch prospect like Luca Caputi. |

only cause there was barely 2 mins left. If there's 5 mins left they get 2 mins each. |

Not to mention, I don't think Orr would have any problem taking the instigator and filling a rat to set the mood. |
