I just like Fraser's attitude. He reminds me of an old school defenceman from the wild west OHL of the late 70's/early 80's - quick to step in to defend his teammates.. He's literally willing to fight for his job. He has put Komi out of a job. - triggermartin
He is literally doing everything they signed Komisarek to do. At one tenth of the price. |

Yes, yes he is. And he is genuinely tough. Haven't seen him take a dumb penalty yet as well.
Same can be said for Holzer.
So unlike Komisarek, both Holzer and Fraser have been consistent and solid. Some physicality. Few dumb penalties.
See dictionary - opposite of Mike Komisarek.
on a related note... when was the last time you can remember being confident of the Leafs PK on a 5 minute kill.... sure wasn't while Wilson was coach. - BorjeFan4Ever
That was nearly 7 straight minutes of PK time.
When was the last time you saw the ACC go insane for a PK? |

Reimer stood on his head last game when the Leafs decided to take 20 minutes off between the latter half of the 1st and 1st half of the 2nd. - Feeling Glucky?
yeah but he hasn't really had to steal games, the Leafs have been cutting down good shots and odd man rushes. I'm not complaining, both goalies have been solid. |

I think we all scoffed at Nonis picking up Maclaren but he said he can play, it is early but not a bad pickup so far. |

And they didn't really go crazy. I mean, for the "leaf" fans in attendance it was pretty crazy, but it wasn't crazy when considering real fans. /rant |
