My prediction of this team not getting a top pick at the beginning of the season is looking pretty good so far, fab five, Frattin, Kadri, JVR, Kessel and Komarov. Hehe, kidding on the fab part but looking good.

This is still Burke's team, and it's pretty clear what he was goin for.

Where is FlyFreaky and the other Philly trolls?

FlyFreaky is cool. He's been very optimistic about our team all year. More so than a lot of fans.

And "fans".

Carlyle just said in the presser Reimer's injury is not long term at all.
- triggermartin

I know I've popped my groin as a goalie and felt burning only to wake up the next day and realize it wasn't that bad.......

The sensation may of just freaked Reims out more than anything and he didn't want to make it worse by putting pressure on it until he knew what it was...

I was hoping for that situation

I agree.... Don't know what was in his cornflakes last year

The same poop he had those 10 great Vezina games he had in Ottawa. He's like Boucher, a guy who is poop but for stretches of hot play.

Hopefully Carlyle is right and it's not serious. It could very well have been something minor. A goalie isn't the same as a player who can sit out for 5-10 minutes after getting injured and then come back on.

Some players are the same way and are wildly inconsistent. They have people jumping for joy for stretches and then completely disappear. Thomas Vanek leading the league in scoring?

Especially happy that Kadri got a couple points tonight. It would be a real bonus if he could keep the momentum he has going and settle into being an NHL player.

Surprised at Fraser. Is it a fluke? Is he playing over his head?

Franson has improved also.

Is it coaching that is sinking in?

"YES! Carlyle says Reimer isn't hurt too seriously which is great because the Leafs never misjudge injuries and oh god he’s dead isn’t he..."

This is why I love DGB.

Oh I know, I'm just waiting for him to come in and be humble. He's one that will actually accept the defeat and call it for what it was.

If it is groin, I hope they don't rush him back. Would rather he miss a few games and return fully healthy. He was on a roll there.

Yeah, he's been saying all year that this Leafs team is built to surprise some people.

I do feel bad for him because Schenn has looked alright this year. Not a great game from him.

Although, as you can see in my location, I needed another beer to calm my nerves after he got on the score sheet so quickly.

Lou, it isn't good to encourage obesity. It's immoral.
