And a further clarification:

I never said that Montreal couldn't send pictures.

What I said was it wasn't the job of the house doctor to inspect wounds to determine supplementary discipline.

- Atomic Wedgie

i find that odd to be honest. it would help clear up any disputable notions when it comes to standing in front of shanny.

ah well.

I never visit other threads... that is what bothers me about the haters that come into Leafsland.. although I did check out the Habs one yesterday but saw how sketchy they were and decided not to post...

There's nothing exhausting about winning 6-0. I hope Luke plays like he usually does in the ACC.

the leafs need to cut down on shots against and improve their special teams

right now i think that needs to be the focus

however, i think special teams will get going now that the guys seem to be finally buying into carlyle's systems

put it on net.. get to the net.. fight in front of the net

thats where you get goals nowadays.

- Dozzer

Fully agreed but I hate how Toronto media always focus on the negatives.. they started with the lousy goaltending tandem, when that didn't work they found the Kessel not scoring angle.. even though he was playing well... then now that that is done.. they are onto our home record.. and I am sure the PP will be next...

But yet stats like I just posted are staring them in the face.. usually winning teams even if their records start poor usually have a good Goals Against/ Goals For Ratio.. and the Leafs clearly do.. even though they haven't played exceptionally well bar the game versus the Pens or the Habs slaughtering..

I see it as they are headed in the right direction.. of course they still have to learn and correct issues..

I try to be honest with everyone, if someone PM's me and asks for clarification on their ban and is respectful, I will give the time of day to get answers for them, if they attack me (even if I did not ban someone, which happens a lot) they get additional time added on depending how bad the attack is.

Anyone here that has sent me a PM will probably know this.

It's unworkable.

Each NHL club is responsible for ensuring a doctor is in the house.

You really think said doctor wants to get involved in making evaluations that could lead to suspensions?

You really think it's fair to put a guy in that situation, knowing the guys who pay him will be looking at the reports he files to the league?

We know that Atomic weren't blaming you in any way.. but Montreal did send in Medical Reports and they were reviewed by the league as part of the disciplinary review..

It seems Montreal was trying to go above and beyond... in an attempt to Suspend Grabo to hide the fact that they got walloped.

does anyone find it amusing that pacioretty claimed to get a tetanus shot after the supposed bite?

those things are good for ten years ffs. how could the habs medical staff not be aware he wasnt caught up on one of the most basic of shots?

just thought i would point that out. by claiming he need the shot we could basically assume that the habs medical staff wasnt caught up on his medical records

So what the hell are we going to do when Gunner and Gardiner come back ?

Who sits ?

- .HOHO.

This is an excellent problem to have.

Can't sit Phaneuf, Fraser, Kostka or Holzer baed on performance. Franson has been spotty (my opinion), but I thought he looked good and beligerent in the Habs game. Logical candidate would be Liles for Gunnarsson. For now Gardiner stays with Marlies.

You don't tend to get tetanus shots unless you need them.

interesting stats Leafs are 3rd in the NHL for goals against... with 23 only two behind Boston for the lead.. and are 7th in Goals For.. Offence..

If that is not impressive stats to back Carlyle's system then I don't know what is..

plus we are getting all the points from the Team.. only JVR & Frattin listed in the top of the league for Goals.. that also is impressive secondary scoring...

My guess is they will start rotating the rookies - and I mean all the rookies.
