Yea I can agree with that.

Ruff is the problem with this team. They should be way better IMO than they are playing and way better than what their record shows. I have no qualms with Darcy really. He has been doing better than most people give him credit for. You cant show off your depth if you don't have a coach that can get the most out of his players.

Weber is slowly becoming the player I remember from the last couple years. Stupid penalties, horrible passes. At least he tried to hit people last night

I didn't see Saturday's game, so I can't really comment on it.

The pairings should be:

Sulzer/Ehrhoff
Myers/Sekera

Weber is the odd man out when it comes to getting paired with someone who isn't a huge mess. I'd say for now put him with Brennan and deal with some of the growing pains that Brennan may have. If he's on the 5/6 pairing, it shouldn't be a complete disaster anyway. Though at this point, it can't possibly get any worse.

Regehr and Leo could probably work as a pair, since they played together last year and weren't as awful as they've been paired with other guys this year.

Well, in general, when you're talking about the PK and the amount of ice time guys are getting, you tend to focus more on the forwards because really any of your 6 D should be able to be out there.

The show can either take it to a great level, or loose some luster

next few weeks will tell me a lot about it moving forward

It's not as good as The Following already is, and I am surprised at that.

I cannot think of many shows that have continued to take it to another level.

Breaking Bad and Homeland are the only two that come to mind.

They pay people, several people to evaluate the on ice product. If they left every decision up to the fans the team would have folded a long time ago.

Name a sports franchise that builds their team based on fan input.

They are, arguably the second weakest team in the NHL. They were bottom feeders last year. If they miss playoffs this year it will be 4 out of 6 years in a league that allows over 50% of the teams in. Now that money isn't the problem, they have to look at other options. They are terrible, they need all the help they can get.

Agreed. If I had to move somewhere else because it was a better opportunity for me in the long run, if there was a hockey team in that city, I'd buy season tickets there if they were available.

I disagree, we have still let up breakaways and 2 on 1's due to bad pinches and confusion, difference is Miller has made some great saves. Hoff has let 2 or 3 breakaways behind him and has yet to have those result in a goal. Myers would look better if he had any type of help
