what do you want out of him?
- joshs

A useful 4th line shift the few times he is out there....otherwise - waive him too....

Hecht, stafford, gerbe,McCormick and Ennis all have to go. Leopold, regehr have to go on defense. Add whatever young players and get a couple deals done
- Buffalo1000

Get me Dubinsky & Helm...
Neither should cost much and will add secondary scoring, more grit (can't have enough IMO), and are both good faceoff guys
Also good PK guys, so we can dial Hecht's playing time way back

Then get me Giordano to help solidify our defense

This team becomes MUCH better by making 3 moves,
None of which major,
All of which reasonable

Guys like Perry & Yandle would be nice... And if those deals are available great! But there's other moves we can make that would help us out too

give him credit on that. it was a nice pass. after ennis got it all he had to do was wait out the goalie for a second.

outside of that pass stafford has been not noticable.

For sure a good pass is a good pass, we all just want to see more of it.

At least he has speed as well, so he is always an X Factor.

Dubinsky costs $4.2 million per. Look at his stats this year.

yeah I love Ennis. He is fun to watch and he produces. I understand the Stafford hate and even the Gerbe hate (somewhat) but I can not seem to see why people want Ennis out.

Ennis is one of our 4 offensive players - if we actually had a power forward who could clear some space for him....not Folignio at the moment

He's also on Columbus
It's a risk that he gets back to being a 20goal scorer,
But he does have it in him
He's also a good PK guy which is always nice
Provides grit and can play against other teams good forwards
And is a good faceoff guy as well
He provides more than the scoresheet tell ya

Also, because he is a 4.2mil cap hit and his scoring #s are down,
We won't have to give up as much to get him

I can see your objection,
But I still see him as a guy that could help us

There are other players who can fight if necessary....you cannot have 2 useless skaters (Scott/McCormick) dressed unless they are out there specifically to fight

i like cody only because i like having another tuff guy on the team. so for a 4th line guy i prefer that over a matt ellis.

He still blows. The combination was an atrocity. But seriously. I don't miss Myers a freakin bit.

I have seen him plenty tonight...give the puck away and basically play penalty killer in a 5-5 situation every time he is on the ice

but scott actually does not look bad as a hockey player. he's been good defensively and he has had a few scoring chances one of which being a breakaway.

I've never been a big McCormick fan
If he was good at faceoffs that would help, but he's pretty much a one-trick pony out there
I don't hate him either,
But an upgrade at that spot would be nice too
