Too much is being made of the "backup" goalie. Boucher or Leighton makes no difference cause Bryz is the man.

How did he look in net?

He easily made saves on Shelley and Rinaldo ..... but Sestito (or Sestitov I should say) pulled a few Datsyukian dekes on him.

I don't think there is a slower goalie in the entire NHL. His lateral movements are pathetic.

He's been waived, not traded, like 100 times. That tells you all that you need to know IMO.

How you been man?

There are worse believe me. Montoya popped a shutout against Ottawa, and he scares the poop out of me as a goaltender. Budaj as well can be horrific.

I've been good, went out and got some pictures done with the fiance today, kind of fun. Otherwise nursing and more nursing, I'll be ready to engrave my name with a needle, into your ass any day now. You?

It will make a difference if Bryz gets run into the ground because Laviolette feels starting the back up is an automatic loss.

Wasn't there a game where Niity let in a goal from somewhere near center ice?

Dont know why but I keep having the image pop into my head.

Will see what happens. I believe Bryz gets stronger when he plays more.

I believe Hedberg is one of the worst. He blows.

Devils lose Parise, have a couple of 40 year old men tending goal, and they win every (frank)ing night. Pathetic.

Taking Da Man hat off for a sec, congrats on the nursing thing. Some of the best and most remarkable people I have met in the past 5 years have come from your field.

Ok, hat back on. Cheers!

He is better when he plays more, but at the same time, he's going to need an odd night off here and there.

Considering Leighton has had issues in the past when playing irregularly, it may make more sense to keep Boucher, who has show he can be solid with an irregular workload.

I don't care who they keep as the backup cause when push comes to shove Ilya Bryzgalov will be DA MAN.

Scary mental picture!

Those guys are horrific. And i'd still take them over Leighton. Leighton is the worst goalie in the NHL at this second IMO.

bryz was a little sloppy last gm and he's def gonna need a break a couple of times on this road trip.

Ugly situation in Montreal last night. Can't wait to see how many games Grabovski gets suspended for biting Max Pacioretty.

Have to get 6 points minimum on this road trip. That would still leave them under .500 The dreadful start eliminated any margin of error.

I would sign on for 6 points on this trip. That would only leave them treading water, but a really bad road trip could leave them buried.
