i dont JT is far ahead of either. better for sure, but i think nuges stock might be a little stunted in your eyes, cause hes not puttin up the points. he will though. theyll come... he'll be just fine. hes gonna be a great player.
his defensive work is stellar right now too.

i dont know that there's anyone in the game id deal both for.

maybe crosby i guess

I love Eberle, dude is a stud. Nuge and Yaks IMO are mid tee 1st liners. I think Hall sucks. Well a 2nd liner IMO. I know what his numbers are right now. I think edm fans are dreaming though if they think all 4 are going to be franchise/blue chip players. There is a miss every 2 or 3 yrs

Look who Tavaras plays with. Moe and curly. He is also far better defensively then both
- Bieksa#3

FAR?? dude. you're not paying attention.

i wont speak of hall TOO much, but hes a battler anyways.
but the nuge is very good defnsively. no homer bro. like really good.
once he gains some strength he's gonna be fantastic both ways.

Clearly a troll post. Islanders aren't getting Whitney or Hemsky. You want those 3 guys your looking at Klefbolm, Gagner and MPS

The point is that if even if we trade our mid tee 1st line centre and good second line winger, we put all of our stock in one line instead of having two solid top 6 lines.

Oilers with Tavares but without Hall and Nuge > Oilers as of now. I really don't see trading two young stars for one as a solution to our main problem of being fairly one-dimensional.

Unless you happen to think as highly of Pajaarvi or Hartikainen as you think lowly of Hall.

Nuge is too small and soft to be great defensively at the center position. He tries but can be man handled.

whoa. i cant believe u think that about hall. he sucks!!?? im surprised. u generally know ur stuff.

ebs is my fav and the slickest of all of em, but hall has been our best player overall imo. hes dangerous every night. ebs has been abit quiet as of late. but thats kind of his game, and then he strikes and ends up with 2 points.

i wont say franchise players, cause thats a relative term...but certainly a true first liner.

you're entitled to ur opinion, but just make sure u come back and tell me u were wrong when hall just gets better and better and becomes elite

those two statements makes me believe you havent watched bailey much

Bailey only played with top 6 players for 19 games... and that was last season
he had 17 pts in those 19 games, and looked amazing.

- Danformo

Don't worry he doesn't watch the Oilers much either........lmao

Hall's got a pretty straighforward skill-set: He's fast, he attacks instead of dispsy-doodling and he's getting harder and harder to knock off the puck. There are moments when he makes it look simple like the best power-forwards. There are moments that he looks like a youngster getting too big for his britches. Moments like the former are beginning to outweigh those like the latter.

I like Hartcanen but haven't seen enough to make a fair call. MPS needs to decide soon whether he wants to be P Kane or Mason Raymond

The best thing about comments like these are, they're helpful. They make all the difference.
- Maxbone

To be honest could JT be had and at what cost.
Eck said a shift of power and none of the players you mentioned in your blog really qualify to be a shift of power.

he'll never be kane. he has no fukin hands.
they seem to be trying to mold him into a 3rd liner. hes actually been decent some nights at that role.

Maybe they'll play spot top 6 time in certain configurations (a la Troy Bouwer in Washington or Kassian with the Sedins) but I really don't think they're ready for primetime.

So, unless you think Yakupov-Tavares-Eberle would be a 130 goal line, I don't think that move helps the oilers regardless of how Tavares compares to hall & Nuge

Raymond is a top 5 skater in the league and is great defensively but I don't like him in our bottom 6 because he soft. Stick him on a weak/mediocre ream where he can be a top 6. Nothing against MPS but I wouldn't want him in my bottom 6 for the same reasons

I see Reid trading down and adding a couple future picks. Praying for Eagles to draft Jj for the o line

That's like saying a midget needs to decide whether or not he wants to be Shaq. MPS probably has the worst hands in the entire league.
