In 2015, Yakupov + Gagner + two assets could totally land us Clowe + Lucic in a three way deal.
Yakupov's value will be greater than either Clowe or Lucic alone. So in a sense, it would be Yakupov for one of Clowe/Lucic plus an asset/roster player. Then it would be Gagner + the asset acquired from the Clowe/Lucic deal + an additional prospect/asset from our own crop for the other one of Clowe/Lucic.
Yakupov + Gagner + Asset acquired from Boston or San Jose + Additional roster player/prospect/asset from the Oilers.
Done.
Edit: That's not really a true 3-way deal, but whatever. |
