There are rumors that it is possible to land Yapukov if we deal Okposo, Streit and first round pick to Oilers. Any news about that?

I would do it if u took Okposo instead of Bailey. Harmonic is the anchor on D
- Vukota

I know Bailey had that surge at the end of last season so I could understand not wanting to trade him away at this time. Honestly, Okposo is nothing I would have interest in seeing on the Oil. As I said on Clouts' blog, he seems weak on his skates for a supposed "power forward" and really lacks consistency. Also, he doesn't bring back any of what the Oil lose when trading Hemsky. The reason I include Bailey is because he gives them a solid replacement option for Hemsky as both are adept passers. Is there a particular prospect from the Oilers (minus Klefbom) that would see you do that deal as proposed?

4 hours with a shovel. my back is killing me

Got stuck in a snow drift trying to drive 2 miles to my grandmothers to check in on her. We got out and back home. Took us two hours At least to shovel out of driveway and three hours to get out of being stuck. 4 hours by yourself is no joke. Take it easy tonight and tomorrow

You're 100% correct on okposo skating. He is also not initiating any contact what so ever since his injury 2.5 years ago.

That would be too much in our favor, IMO. Streit is weak defensively (to put it nicely), and Bailey is playing for the first time this season tonight, and has been extremely inconsistent in previous years.

Now, I don't know much about Whitney, but from what I hear Hemsky has been playing well.

- NYIDRIVE4FIVE

Hemsky has definitely been playing well. A tad selfish, but I can't blame him yet as this is the first time he's really ever had talent similar to his own on a line with him. Whitney has been, to put it bluntly, flat out bad. His injuries seem to have cost him his agility that made him the effective player that he was and that's played a part in exposing his other deficiencies, particularly defensively. He's also been rumored to want to be back East where he can be closer to home. Maybe a trade could revitalize him.

Regardless of how weak Streit has played, he'd be an upgrade from Whitney and could provide another veteran presence on a very impressionable young team.

Frankly, I would love to have Taylor Hall, Eberle or Nails

Frankly, I figured that, but thanks for the input

Well, that's no good. As much as the Oil are looking for size, they'd likely want it to be used once in a while.

He had a career high in goals last year but you always noticed him doing the small things before his injury

Watching the pre-game, and I think butch just said when bailey is on his game he's better then anyone else in the NHL . Guess butchie already has a couple drinks in him already. And apparently in his world that means he's better then Stamkos, ovechkin, Tavares, Crosby, or Malkin. God just go home butch.

I swear if you panned into the press booth, you'd find a large bottle of whiskey next to Rose and Goring.

Goring's comment about not knowing if Isles fans were booing Visnovsky or chanting Lubo.... REALLY?!

Isles have no net front presence; whether in front of the oppositions net to screen the goalie and knock in rebounds or in front of their own to clear the crease.

The all world defensive forward who I will not mentioned stood in front of his own net scratching his head instead of knocking one of the sabres down.
