Ducks with 3 goals in 1:40 against the blues. - Bieksa#3
Bruce Boudreau, basically the new Marc Crawford. Perry, Getzlaf, Selanne and Ryan must love playing for him. |

Not sure why, but he always plays well against Calgary. I hope, for my pool and for the win, that he has a big night. I liked the lines from the last game, hopefully AV doesn't change them. - LeftCoaster
His hometown team. Calgary should be focused on shutting him down instead of the Twins. |

The Blues are overrated. Still, that's not taking anything away from Boudreau's influence on the Ducks. They've got an offense heavy line-up. Who better than Bruce to let the dogs out? |

Caps were stupid to try and change the way they played, they were fun to watch and only needed small changes. Now look at them. |

Ever run into a guy named Gord Turner? Might have been after your time. - Fosco
Don't recognize the name I was there from 75-78, moved to Victoria and got into marine work.

Just trying to suck up at this point, I'm pretty sure he still hates him. - Nucker101
Super versatile. He can play any spot and if someone goes down or a shake up in the lines he can go top to bottom. PK specialist. HE would be a lock on my list. |

They were my pre-season pick to go to the cup(and lose against NYR). I still think that they have the deepest team in the league when healthy, but obviously in a slump right now. Tarasenko's cooling off, hopefully I won't regret trading him in the pool.
Boudreau is a solid coach for a team like the Ducks, that's the style they need to play with that roster. |

Yeah, but honestly they've got multiple problems. Ovechkin's declined, Green and Backstrom injured the last couple of years, possible locker room issues and suspect goaltending plus a lack of leadership. I think Boudreau's pretty happy that he's in Anaheim now, plus the weather down there ain't too bad either. |

They played the game as it should be played. I know I've harped on this before but at 34 years old, IMO if you're not trying to score as many as you can, you can fu#$ off as a team. I'm so sick of teams making it their sole objective to stifle the other guy as opposed to opening up your own Guns of the Navarone. |

All kids are gonna kool off. They were in mid season form to start the season. Edm is in trouble again because of this |

Yup, but in the first two years he should have his name etched on the Jennings along with his team's goalies. |

To be fair, guys like Trotz and Tippet really have no choice if they want to keep their jobs. They don't have many guys that can take over a game offensively so the only way to have a chance is to play a smart defensive game and just try to make less mistakes than the other guys and hopefully your goalie keeps you in it. It's annoying when teams like the Lightning and Caps do it. I prefer the Detroit style game, puck possession and chances are that you'll win on most nights if you control the play and out shoot and out score the other team. |

I think Edmonton will be fine in terms of their core players, those guys put up numbers when they're all healthy. But injuries and their lack of grit/experience will hurt them. |

They've definitely got problems now, but they were fun to watch a few years ago. I honestly think part of OV's decline is because the wanted to change the way he played, he's not having fun anymore.
08/09 - 108 pts
09/10 - 121 frickin pts
10/11 - 107 pts
They didn't win the Cup in those three years so they try and become a "defensive" team. |

Completely agree re the sh!tty teams. Although in saying that, the parity draft rules should mitigate that need, that is to say if suck long enough you should be loading up on elite talent. Obviously that's not always the case.
What pissed me off was LA playing like that. |
