Now that the SuperBowl is ended and Jesus is done with giving them his magical athletic abilities, he's sending it all to Reimer. |

In no way do I condone biting, but seriously, what the hell do you expect?
Pacioretty had a firm grip on Grabo's ENTIRE FACE from behind and was yanking on it. Grabo is getting fingers in the eyes, his airway is blocked, his nose is getting cranked while his hands are tied in the middle of a scrum. Panic.
Is Grabo supposed to just let that happen and this next thing you know he has a broken nose or a scratched cornea?
Grabo isn't a dirty player and neither is Pacioretty, but in this situation Grabo's basic human instincts kicked in. BOTH players shouldn't have done what they did.
Maybe next time Pacioretty will think twice about pulling that kinda sh1t! - As_I_See_It
it will be interesting to see how shanny rules
i think grabo will get a game.. not going to defend why.. its just what i think |

He bit him ...Grabo would probably say so if he was asked. Give him and Patches a game each. Patches glove-off face gouge/head twist/stinkfist is equally as offensive IMHO.
On a side-note Patches probably saved Grabo's life .....Grabo had dropped his gloves and was man'ing up to Prust. That probably wouldn't have ended well for him.
Has Komarov officially reached poop disturber status? - The Law
I don't even think Grabo bit him. I play rough with my dog all the time, and come out with cuts without him biting me. Teeth are sharp, force your arm into a mouth full of them... don't be surprised if you get bloodied up. |

And he's been good against those teams, too.
Guy's made some saves where there was no way for him to see the puck. And it's not like he just happened to be there.
He's fantastic at following the puck, and figuring out where the shot's going to come from. And with him no longer falling deep in the net, his glove hand isn't getting exposed as much anymore. - Feeling Glucky?
Hope he can keep it going. |

thing is pax isnt up for a hearing, only grabo.
and i dont think prust could hurt grabo.. chara tried putting his head through the boards and he popped right back up for (frank) sakes.. the guys head is made of cast iron - Dozzer
Agreed those were some of the dirtiest hits.. from Chara.. in todays game he would be sitting out for 8 games for each one of those.. Grabo is scrappy... lots of toughness.. would've been interesting to see him against Prust if they had gotten loose.. Prust is much bigger but Grabo can be quite scrappy.

you are preaching to the choir. this is exactly why i was so adamantly opposed to bringing in a guy like luongo |

oh grabo loses that fight... i dont doubt that.
but easily? no, i dont think so. |

watch the clip again, his hand was free.
anyways, we will find out in a few hours - Dozzer
Even if "his hand was free," it clearly wasn't enough to free a bigger and stronger Pacioretty's hand from behind that was gripping his face WHILE Grabo is also off balance in the middle of a melee. |

Grabo would be the habs toughest player. This guy stood up to Chris Neil as well. Doesn't back down. |

Yeah you are probably right.. but would've rather saw that then the face claws... and the constant 3rd man in... isn't that supposed to be a game misconduct?? for jumping in as a 3rd man?

He did well in a wrestle-fight with Neil too.
If he gets a game ...so be it ...Leafs are defending themselves now and building team toughness. Feb 27th ...marked! |

they could live without him for a game if need be
mcclement jumps up to centre that ruskie line and steckel jumps in on the 4th
its still a lineup that can win a game |

Just for the sake of accuracy, Grabo was 3rd guy in, Pacioretty was 4th. |
