NBC's Mike Milbury on Pacioretty wrapping arm around Grab's face: "If someone did that to me, I'd need dental floss." #Leafs #Canadiens

uh oh.. milbury defending grabo... that cant be good lol

- Dozzer

Also found it amusing how Gorges was saying Grabo should drop the gloves.. clearly he didn't see anything because after Grabo got suckered he did drop the gloves.. and didn't do as badly as Gorges...lol

Nice one by Milbury...

Getzlaf isn't going anywhere. His wife is from anaheim and his kids love it there and he's already said he wants to stay because of those reasons.
- Sheppy99

I don't think he will either. But it's crazy to suggest he's not an upgrade to tyler Bozak.

i do finally agree with him here though.

What do you want grabo to do... not breathe?

His hands are tangled up. i'd bite too.

The whole crew ...Milbury and Keith Jones said no suspension. They rightly questioned wtf Paccioretty was trying to do to Grabo's head. Why had Patches dropped his gloves?

The classic face wash is a 'glove on' procedure.

- The Law

it will come down to whether or not shanny believes there is sufficient evidence of a bite

if yes: suspension.. biting should be punished at all times

if no: habs fans will cry foul

its gonna suck either way lol

Any time Mike Milbury talks about anything described as in "incident", a split screen of the time he beat a fan with a shoe should appear.

yup, and i am sure carlyle will bring it up in practice.

regardless of outcome.. giving up close to 40 shots is not a trend you want to start.

keep working, keep getting better.

- Dozzer

yea, they got clumsy at the end of the first. Riemer's getting hot though.

He bit him ...Grabo would probably say so if he was asked. Give him and Patches a game each. Patches glove-off face gouge/head twist/stinkfist is equally as offensive IMHO.

On a side-note Patches probably saved Grabo's life .....Grabo had dropped his gloves and was man'ing up to Prust. That probably wouldn't have ended well for him.

Ok the Leafs kicked ass and beat up the Habs.

And that has evolved into Colton Orr vs. GSP

Keep in mind, this is the same Milbury who a couple of years ago gave us this amazing insight: "You can't bite in this league".

reimer is playing solid agreed... but there are many teams out there with more offensive punch than the habs

cutting down shots/chances should be the one thing they take from that game as something to work on.

Who cares what habs fans think. Love how they are trying to make this a big story when the real story is they got smacked in every part of the game last night.

In no way do I condone biting, but seriously, what the hell do you expect?
Pacioretty had a firm grip on Grabo's ENTIRE FACE from behind and was yanking on it. Grabo is getting fingers in the eyes, his airway is blocked, his nose is getting cranked while his hands are tied in the middle of a scrum. Panic.

Is Grabo supposed to just let that happen and this next thing you know he has a broken nose or a scratched cornea?

Grabo isn't a dirty player and neither is Pacioretty, but in this situation Grabo's basic human instincts kicked in. BOTH players shouldn't have done what they did.

Maybe next time Pacioretty will think twice about pulling that kinda sh1t!

And he's been good against those teams, too.

Guy's made some saves where there was no way for him to see the puck. And it's not like he just happened to be there.

He's fantastic at following the puck, and figuring out where the shot's going to come from. And with him no longer falling deep in the net, his glove hand isn't getting exposed as much anymore.
