Since when is this a time to call in a medical examiner? Should we call in the RCMP too? You don't go choke holding someone around the nose and mouth, give them a game each, case closed then.

none of which actually has a bearing on grabovski actually biting down

scrums like this happen all the time without the biting

and again, there is more than just video replay to be considered here.

if the refs reported it as a bite in their post game summary that gets submitted to the NHL, and it was confirmed by nhl medical staff as a bite wound, than grabo could be punished based on that.

there is no place for biting, not even in dirty scrums. i love grabo, but if its determined he bit a player he should serve a suspension. no place for that kind of crap in hockey.

also, take a look at the replay, yes he was involved in a scrum but his hand was clearly free.. he didnt need to bite at all.

You're only looking at this in a negative light. What if Grabo's natural reaction was to close his mouth so Pax didn't cave his teeth in? What if Grabo couldn't breath because of the fact that Pax literally looks like hes trying to choke him?

If the league suspends Grabo for "biting," then Pax needs to get a suspension for the wrestling move he was trying to pull off there. It goes both ways.

they would fit the bill of a medical examiner

and they wouldnt be doing their job unless they went and looked at it.

take a step back and think about it without leaf fan bias.
