3 - 1 Devils. I guess this one's over. Another powerplay goal for the Devils, but now Jersey is in the box. The whole game has been played 5 on 4, for about 90% of it. I need to move over to the Flyers game for a while, I feel the need for Rum right now!

That was quick....another bogus broken stick call. Heaven forbid that a stick breaks during a puck battle and even up the penalties. This league is getting worse for penalty calls, with that new penalty for touching the puck with your glove in the faceoff circle.

I can't stand the hand on the puck and the automatic over the glass call. The slashing of the stick and it breaking bugs me too. But what gets me is the horrid Officiating that the league has not even come out and admitted it.

Question for Habs fans: just how bad is Kaberle?

I just find it hard to believe he has deteriorated so much you can't find a spot somewhere in your lineup.

I've witnessed me some bad reffing before, but never as bad as this year, and those two rules are bs, and stupid, right up there with the instigator and the refs intent on blowing the whistle bs, which is still the worst call in all of sports...

The leafs bumped komarov up to grabo's line and dropped mcclement back to centre the 4th line.

Another one that really bugs me, is the hitting from behind, when a player turns his body towards the boards, when the hit is about to happen. The stick one is so ridiculous, because the one pieces sticks don't take much to become unstable, if they take a nick in the shaft.

Philly game is much better.

The hand on the puck one is brutal agreed.

As for clearing the puck out of the defensive zone? I'm okay with that one. NHL players should be good enough not to clear the glass without it being deflected or even just riding up the glass and over.

morgan rielly is not better than any of smid, petry or n. schultz. maybe in a few years, but not even close now. u clearly dont watch the oilers. smid is a very solid shutdown guy. petry is developing beautifully. -Oilers Fan

We'll see if he can even play a full season though.

Agreed. He plays that hard nosed type of game at both ends of the ice. Should compliment each other well. Now im expecting a big night for them. Go Leafs Go!
