As of right now I owe Bryz a huge apology...He's been their best player, by far... - Flyfreaky
Agreed on this. He has been, and to be true, it has to be Iggy + to get Briere. He is that good. |

After last season, me too. Didn't see Philly struggling to score goals like they have so far. - SotaPopinski
I think that will come around when Hartnell gets back...It seems like the players are becoming more relaxed...Meszaros will also help... |

Another whiney Leaf fan. The only guy who had any guts to fix the two decades worth of mistakes Fergy made (Burke) is gone. So just deal with your mediocre team full of 3rd liners that no one wants to trade for. Leave the site perhaps, because there won't be any Leafs rumours...unless waiver wire deals turn your little blue crank. - JLO961
so...the leafs mediocre team full of 3rd liners managed to finish ahead of the oiles how many years in a row now? why dont you just come back and post in the offseason, that's the only time the oilers are ever relevant when they have the 1st pick in the draft. |

I was thinking Iggy and Kipper for Briere.
After all, y'all need a backup |

Think Flyers need more than just Hartnell, but I understand holding off on trades this season |

yeah...huge gamble for the oil.
the oil need another quality guy on the backend. (regardless of streits deficiencies, potter is not an nhl caliber guy and whitney injuries have killed any foot speed he once had)
okposo and nino both have size. something we're sorely lacking. but have been less than GREAT thus far.
while yaks is gonna be a true sniper.
but i do think we're a better team if one the two forwards turns into a power guy. even one that doesnt produce as much as yaks, but brings afew other things.
tough call
i just realized ive been sucked into eks web of deceit just cause he mentioned my team!! after all my sh1t talk. ive been had
maybe some plug for a 5th - hugefemale dog77
Mybe Nino, Okposo is probably the weakest player I've seen on skates |

I agree, just grasping at straws...I hope they upgrade the d and then find a nice sniper during the off season... |

Who's the power bottom?
Okposo has been f-ed since his concussion against the Flames. Wasn't it Phaneuf who knocked him out? |

I think the D is not the problem. What i see is a WEAK top 9. I assume Schenn will improve, and Read/Cout/Giroux should be untouchable. The rest? Flip. Except maybe Simmonds. I like him. |

The defense is the NUMBER 1 problem...If they had a solid 1-2 paring it would be lights out...The defense always sets the pace for a healthy offense... |

Yes it was. Okposo is the same player he has been since day one, mediocre at best. He is a good third liner at this point. Won't miss him we have that area covered. |

How about unloading Coburn for a puck-moving D man. Wideman (who is awesome) is the type who would help, but he isn't getting traded. So- Campbell or Tyutin would be good targets |

Streit at 35 is still the best offensive DMan on both teams, Okposo is a solid top 6 forward ( former 10 ten pick) for Yak who may be a 30 goal man. Doesnt seem that far off. This deal may sound better Bailey,Okposo and Streit for Parvaji, Yak. - acash1012000
No he's not. Far from it in fact. |
