Hang on, let me get my popcorn first. This'll be great.

I'd normally respond to such. But lately, why bother. On Pannacio's thread a poster called L. Schenn a "bag of pucks".

Par for the course. Everybody sucks, every decision is short-sighted, and if you disagree you obviously drink through kool-aid tinted glasses.

I would seriously doubt that. They aren't going to give up on him this early, nor would they give him away. Doubt if he's available, and if he is the price would be very high.

Very true, but in Buffalo theyre basically in the streets with pitchforks and torches wanting him to be sat and Buffalo will be sellers at the deadline. Just a thought

Hmm I looked over there, and don't see that comment. Regardless, it's not true..he hasn't been bad.. I'd like to see him be more consistent, but he's young. Big thing I want to see from the team is PP success.. We've been given a lot of chances to win games, and the PP has let them down.. Giroux also has to get going.

The fans opinion has zero bearing on what Buffalo will do pertaining to Myers. Fans tend to lack patience, nor the understanding of the ups and downs of a young defenseman's development curve. All they see are the struggles and the big paycheck.

given where were at on d, if homer knew this guy was available for a song, he likely would have used that last spot...unless scouting reports were so negative, which might have been the case. makes me think about off ice issues w/ only 125 nhl gms, but we don't know.

Other then about 5 periods of play this Season. Luke Schenn has been very good in my opinion. I'm extremely happy with his play so far.

Agree totally about the PP and Giroux.

What would it take to pry Tyler Myers from Buffalo? With the way hes been playing lately we might be able to get him for a steal pending his cap hit

I am hoping Simmonds will help get the PP going. He is good at getting those garbage goals around the net.

Also having him back will shift someone (Briere?) to the 2nd PP unit and that unit needs some help badly.

I think Mezsaros coming back will be a key step for this team.
Having him on the 3rd pair with (probably) Gervais moves Grossmann back with Coburn and those two are solid as shut down guys.

Grossmann with Foster I don't like. They get trapped in their own end easily and often.

agreed, but in the case of a potential franchise dman, patience is the key. he is not going anywhere unless they are blown out of the water with a deal.

Other then a couple of bobbles here and there he has been solid and very physical,
decent first pass out of the zone at times too.

Did you guys get nailed by Nemo?

The snowstorm that just hit was named Nemo. Just outside of Philly, we got maybe an inch or so, and plenty of ice underneath. I had to chisel my car out to get to work this morning.

knuble has played pretty well since he signed. good puck possession, always in front of the net. not sure what you want out of him? feds has been up and down this year, but what do you want from a 4th liner. sestito is about the same thing. although feds has more speed and skill. don't fall in love with tito just because he scored two goals. that is not a normal sample of what he does.

A derecho is a violent storm system that can produce widespread wind damage across a large area and is associated with a band of rapidly moving band of showers and thunderstorms. The strong to violent winds are typically associated ahead of the main system as the outflow from the storms becomes more concentrated. Wind damage is typically directed into one direction and can create widespread damage along a relatively straight path. These windstorms typically form in the late spring and summer and typically affect states east of the Rocky Mountains.

My friend had a tree fall onto his house last July from one of these derechos, he is in Elkton MD.
