Actually, they were slightly over the cap floor, if I was adding correctly- NOW they are well over the cap floor. I'm guessing this frees them up to do other things without having to worry about that. The question is, will Garth ever make a trade that doesn't involve him trading a third round draft choice straight up for a player? And how come (if this is in fact the deal) he didn't make Boston give us something else for taking their albatross? God, I miss Bill Torrey....

B's didn't need to move TT as they had a decent amount of cap space left this year and he would have been gone next year, not to mention they weren't actually paying him. No reason for PC to give up anything ... this is all for NYI's benefit.

This means Islanders can trade Okposo without going under cap floor. Think there is more coming. May be completely off though lol
