You'll still find a way to blame him when your team loses in the playoffs.

Yeah, but it was all worth it.
We stockpiled a bunch of blue-chip prospects:
Yakupov
Nugent-Hopkins
Hall
Paajarvi
Eberle

It's hard for some Leafs fans to grasp this, but Gunnarson just isn't that good. - Atomic Wedgie
NO he is not that good. BUt he IS an NHL defensemen and I think if you are willing to package him and Grabovski and maybe the first rounder, you might be able to get that number one centre you are looking for.
You want a young, controllable guy with high upside and a superstar ceiling.
Someone like Cody Hodgson, who Buffalo scooped up last year.
Huberdaue, Corturier. Obviously those guys are not available, but thats what the Leafs should be targeting, in my opinion. |

I really don't think this year's team has enough talent to make the playoffs.
But I'm happy watching JVR, Frattin and Kadri develop.
Can we please get the last two some PP time? - Atomic Wedgie
Carlyle post game presser last time implied Frattin will be getting PP now. he got some in the 3rd last night
Kadri's got 4th most PP minutes on team behind #1 line. He's been on the #2 unit since day 1.

It seems like you could make better arguments if you weren't so focused on replying to what wasn't said. Drop the strawmen. Just give it a try.
I couldn't really care less about what Aquaman originally said, but the very first thing you did was contort his post into something that it wasn't. - Leeman4Gilmour
Bingo. I really love what you wrote here. Attacking with stawman arguments is what this place is all about.
I suggest trading the first rounder because data shows they are overvalued. The guy says "but that worked out poorly last time" as if there is any correlation between what happend 4 years ago and what will happen in the future. |

There's something about Frattin that will make him a special player...he doesn't have "elite" skill per se, but his skill level is still very high given his NCAA/AHL numbers and just seems to have a nose for the net. |

Phaneuf sucks.
He can't even make career AHLers look like superstars. - Leeman4Gilmour
How do you follow up such an intelligent post with this? Paired with the right guy and given the proper amount of minutes, Dion could win the Norris trophy. |

As we've seen before, its easier said than done. In the NHL, teams seem more inclined to take the better player over two lessers, and that's understandable. |

Wait wait wait wait.
Hold the (frank) up BL.
You mean to tell me they're going to play the top scorer on the team on the PP?
The (frank)?
Next thing you'll tell me they'll let the leading point getter get in there. |
