Riemer maybe? - Leafland
1st game star on opening night - gives him 15 points, tied with 4 other guys for 2nd place. |

A second and a third gets Frattin 15 points. |

OK, obviously I have too much time on my hands, but you will all benefit, so shut up and read and be happy.
Once upon a time, there was a trophy called the Molson Cup, which was awarded at the end of each month, and at the end of the season, to the Leaf (and other Canadian teams) who wracked up the most Molson three stars.
If I recall correctly, you got 15 points for 1st star, 10 points for 2nd star, and 5 points for 3rd star.
So who do you think currently leads the Molson Cup Three Stars Competition on the Leafs?

No clue... Kadri? Frattin? The three stars tend to reward players who show up on the stat sheet.
I do remember this Molson Cup thing, but it's funny that they would assign a 5, 10, 15 point value instead of the simpler 1, 2, 3. But I'm guessing it was created by marketing people, not mathematicians.

A 1st star, a 2nd star and a 3rd star gives him 30 points.
As far as Molson is concerned, JVR has been the best Leaf this year.

What would Toronto want from the Pens for Kuli. It's seems the Pens are eyeing him to play along side with Malkin.
Maata + 1st 2013?
Maata + kennedy?
Sutter straight up?
or any package where kulemin and sutter are the two main pieces?

He's been a solid pickup for our top 6...starting to find his thing in front of the net, and goals are starting to come. |

I honestly thought I would hate the guy, but even my cold, bitter heart is starting to warm to him.
For the love of Spinner Spencer's dad, can we please try a JVR - Kadri - Kessel line? Even if it's just on the power play?
Tell Kadri and Kessel to do all their fancy Harlem Globetrotters poop - and tell JVR to drive the net.
And then dust off those parade plans... |

Yeah, oddly enough, that scoring system seemed to trigger a memory of it. Apparently, they still do it. Maybe it's not as publicized for some reason.
Kessel has it the last 3 years, but it seems to favor goalies. Toskala had it two years straight before Kessel's arrival. |

Seems rather intuitive...but I think Carlyle is squeezing as much as he can out of the Frattin/Kadri combo. I'm not sure what's happened to Macarthur...seems to kill the possession every time he touches the puck. Maybe woke up one morning and realized he was in fact Clarke Macarthur. |

Also, for anybody questioning the progress Burke made here given what he started with, consider how terrible the roster was for Vesa bloody Toskala to have been our brightest star for two straight years. |

I can't find anything recent about it for the Leafs, although apparently the Habs still hand it out. |

I would too. BTW, your avatar is my favorite movie of all times! I LMAO at that scene when they picked up the hitchhiker in that convertible and soon enough they lost their franking minds doing drugs and pulled a gun on that kid...He was hauling ass when he had a chance. Speaking of witch, it's on Netflix, I am gonna watch it again this weekend considering the weather. |

As long as he doesn't get hurt. I for one think, JVR crashing the net is safer than playing along the boards all the time injury wise.
RC is a smart cookie. He's utilizing this flawed roster and make it look like a good team. Imagine what he would do if he had more stars to work with like with the Ducks. |

A top-five drafted American who's young and can score...
I wonder if anyone's viewed him as our next Kessel. |
