So now that the trade talk has calmed down and we have strung a couple wins together, we can look at the future.

So we have MTL on saturday and PHI on monday.

Needless to say those are points we should be able to acquire

I think we can play Montreal pretty well, especially since the road is where the Leafs seem most comfortable. Philly is all over the place right now, might be a good time to strike...

Any Leaf season ticket holders or guys who've gone to a game this year. Just got tickets off stub hub for the gm against the Bruins on the 23rd. They say revised schedule Home Game 16. then say's to go visit MAPLELEAFS.COM to fill in game date & time.
Everything else looks legit. Just wondering if this is what the tickets look like this year?

- tmlfan17

I've been to a few games this year and they are the original tickets with a sticker over the original dates and teams.

And a Norris Trophy.

Until any of us wins the award for being the best defenseman in the world, we are hopelessly unqualified to question Carlyle's faith in Phaneuf.

Yes, I questioned his decision to stick with Kostka, but based on his significantly reduced playing time, Carlyle seems to agree.

The Internet makes people ridiculously arrogant. Some people in the world have actually accomplished poop.

- Leeman4Gilmour

I was obviously just being silly with my comment but I do find it a bit funny when some people think they undeniably know more than a coach about who should or shouldn't get ice time based on their current play. I'm not really saying that's happening right now (seems like regular old hockey talk going on) but there certainly is a poster on this website who fits that description.

Yes.

Long story short: they sent out the tickets and then four days later sent out stickers that you are supposed to put on your tickets. But even if you didn't put the stickers on the tickets, the tickets are still valid.

Here's a handy schedule for you:

As you can see from page 2, Home Game 16 is indeed against the Bruins.

Believe me, I'm well beyond the point of being offended.

My rant isn't for my benefit, but your own. There is no happiness in declaring yourself more brilliant than everyone else and operating under the assumption that everyone just has to catch up to your level.

The next step is that you start with the "sheep" and "Koolaid drinkers" and "blue and white goggles" stuff. It's not pleasant.

MTL games are always a toss up. Plus it's in MTL so who knows what can happen.

Just looking at the standings last night, we really didn't gain much ground on anyone as all th teams around us won, and the ones that lost still got a point.

Random thoughts on Kessel.

Super happy he got that big goal last night, and have been happy with his play this season. However, I have seen a small change in his game. In the past, it seemed his default move was to break down the wing, using his speed to push the D back. Then he would then cut towards the middle and shoot for the far side about 1.5' off the ice and just inside the post, as the goalie was moving to cut the angle on the short side. I have not seen that move much, if at all, this season. Instead, he has been attempting to go wide and shoot top shelf short side, and seems a bit more predictable.

Not sure if this means anything. Maybe RC has told him to stop cutting towards the middle, as it's a riskier play...or maybe it's a confidence thing, or maybe it's absolutely nothing.

I think in the long run if we can aim for 6-8th place, that would be ideal.

Thanks,
They look real. They have all the sponsorship the ACC logo and Molson Canandian, Real Sports on the back ....Was a little nervous seeing that I'm flying in and the tickets are about a mortgage payment so I wanted to be sure

Believe it or not, that sticker is official issue from MLSEL. Yeah, they got out Avery labels and ran them off on their colour bubble jet printer.

In their defence, they had to do it 19,000 times in two days.
