If only Burke knew the Leafs would be THAT BAD. You know who the 3rd overall pick in Seguin's draft was? Gudbranson. Haven't heard anything about him. Leafs were just unlucky. If both of the picks were top 10 but no Seguin, the deal doesn't look that bad. Just saying.

If Kessel can get on a 7 goals in 8 or 9 games type of streak, Leafs should start winning some more. He has done it in the past. Early in the season.

This isn't a valid argument anymore. He's been playing responsible defensive hockey and still getting his assists. I don't remember anyone giving Sundin a hard time when he was putting up a bunch of assists during his goal droughts. |

Sundin was a force everynight.. I don't recall any 10 games scoring droughts to start a season.. Kessel wasn't all that defensively sound tonight. |
