Liles has been a huge dissapointment this year.

I`ve always been hard on Komi, but I think Komi`s had decent moments out there. At least enough to make you think of keeping him around for the last year of his deal.

so you know.. the last time capless buyouts were allowed not one guy with more than a year remaining got bought out

for nonis to buy out liles he would have to convince MLSE to doll out close to 15million dollars for no return

Would love to swing a deal for Ryan Johansen for CBJ but I get the sense he`s untouchable.

Still, I think they have a need for a flashy goal scorer who can put bums in the seats, and it`d be a low-key environment for Phil to play in.

If we know their pick this summer is top 5(pretty good chance) then Phil for that top 5 pick, and a prospect like Boone Jenner(tearing it up with Biggs in OSH)

CBJ would be insane to trade for Kessel, and to trade that pick. They can't afford to resign him. And they are likely a lottery pick, meaning they have a shot at Jones. An American born potential franchise d-man they could make face of the franchise.

Blacker's still a ways a way.

really like his game, but he's not high enough on the radar yet. needs another full year, hopefully injury free.

The O'Reilly situation looks a whole lot like the Stajan one to me. Gets handed big minutes, sees a jump in production.

Can't count on that first to be any good- seeing as they give up nothing from their active roster and add Kessel, and O'Reilly hasn't shown he's a #1 center. Its easy to see how a big increase in ice time lead to his points going up. And it's not like he got the extra time because he was amazing, but rather because the other guys were sucking.
