Hey, I'm as a big a leafs fan as the next guy, I just refuse to keep believing that some of our solid 3rd line talent is top 6 when its clearly not. Eight years have sobered my judgement.

i used to watch good ol channel 40 uhf back in the day as well

and during the week.. i could usually get my lil black n white tv to pull global in via the rabbit ears.. it was grainy, but you could make it out

If u have Leafs TV, they show the 70's Leafs once in a while. LOVE SITTLER, LOVE SALMING & PALMATEER was my hero. Salming was a GOD!!!!!!! I've been watching hockey since 1976 and to this day, no Leaf D man they've ever had after Salming could tie his shoe laces. He could do it all, offensively, defensively, he's tough, big, strong. He had the most amazing move in his own end, he could back hand the puck really high & down the ice. He had an amazing shot from the point. He use to twist the hockey blade backwards b4 he would shoot from the point. He was a beautiful skater too. Best D man to never win a Norris, cause of the Canadiens dominance in the 70's, Salming always got overlooked for Larrry Robinson.

No, I said Frattin and Kadri need to prove their top 6, and very well might become that. More so Kadri. Its the guys who insist mac and kulie are. They are on a bad team. I'm lookin for a good team here for an eight year freakin change

carlyle uses his second line in a shut down role, so mac and kuli are right where they belong
