Is the book out on Kessel? Is he too predictable when he shoots at the net? Caps goalie Niewvirth (spelled wrong) in 2 different games he robbed Kessel blindly from in close. Have goalies gotten too smart for him? Have the opposing D-men figured him out? Mabie Kessel should try different things?

I realize the Ducks have started off 7-1-1, but with Perry and Getzlaf both UFA's this summer, not sure if both would sign back on again? Especially with Selanne retiring. Although the Ducks could afford to re-sign both to 6-7 million/yr each.

Kessel has 1 more year left on his deal.

There could be more to the deal, but just throwing it out there.

What's the point of the Ducks acquiring a guy who is a UFA and could walk away for bigger money the same way Perry and Getzlaf might?

Leafs need to move Kessel for young top prospects and high draft picks.
