I know I'm not going out on a limb here but Ovechkin can do a lot more with the puck than Orpik can. If he makes similar adjustments in his hitting game like Orpik he could get back to that 90 point range IMO.

I thought OV had a pretty good game. What happened to guys like Backstrom and Green. Other than OV, I never saw another player that looked like a threat to score. Anyway, No team can win with that tending.

True enough but the Caps roster is not that good to be considered a cup contender anytime soon. They should make some trades "right now". I feel sorry for Oates.

Luongo is a must. They should offer Holtby + to get him. I'd rather keep Neuvirth.

Post concussion problems? I have always felt he was very gooding at protecting the puck and his passing in traffic has always been good in the past.

The bigger problem is and has been for a while, defense and goaltending.

Bortuzzo has more offensive skill than I thought, and is more of an as$hole out there than I thought... I like it lol.

Reese played well too, makes moving Lovejoy that much more unnoticeable.

I thought he had a good game tonight but you can definitely tell the pressure is getting to him. He wasn't the problem tonight however. 3 lazy penalties, plus 1 that maybe shouldn't have been called, and a good PP sunk them.

I was surprised that after the second period, that they actually came out hard in the third, carried the play at times, and forced a couple penalties. And the fact that they were angry after the loss, shows they care and are not quitting on Oates. They just need to get their crap together.
