Is it you that said PK and Eller for O'Reilly?
- soad_live

nope, but that's not that far off.

subban and eller for o'reilly and a 2nd would be a fair trade

your offer of eller and a 2nd for o'reilly is beyond ridiculous though.

that would be like me saying sens trade eric condra and a 2nd for p.k. subban.

You're talking about the greatest goalie of all time vs. a serial choke artist that nobody wants to trade for.
- Gian_Carlo

I wasn't said he was better then brodeur but he isn't the chopped liver some morons think he is, many teams could use him....you know like your team. Other people know he is a extremely talented goalie. Which group are you in? I think I know

You are almost as bad as leafs fans who think every other GM is on the cutting block because their GM got fired.

English is my 5th language but am I to understand that your response is a covert demand for your GM to be fired?

well soon brodeur will retire and the devils will have some duster named scotty wedgewood in net and the rags will still have 8 more solid years of king henrik so enjoy his history while you can before it become irrelevant
- rangerdanger94

think many of brodeurs records will always be relevant

and lou will always have something up his sleeve

i know you're a devils fan so you irrationally hate the rangers but that luongo comment was a low blow and just completely uncalled for...
- rangerdanger94

Sorry but I wasn't being wise. I think that both Hank and Lou are great goalie's and both are still in their prime. I'm just saying that a lot of Ranger fans, not just Devil, Isles, Philly fans, think he's been shaky in the playoffs. I think last year if Marty was on the Rangers and Hank was on the Devils the Rangers would of been in the finals. The Rangers are a better team then the Devils. They should of won.

Just for the record, I would be sour on anyone Montreal has on their roster or has already drafted in exchange for Ryan O.

LOL

I can think of three or four players that are better than your 18 goals first line center.

so let me get this straight.....you can only think of 3-4 players on your roster that are better than o'reilly, yet you think that your 3rd line player is just as valuable as he is?

come on, you wouldn't trade your 2nd line center for a norris trophy winning d-man because you're worried about your depth. obviously a pointless argument, but if that's your view, then you need to lay off the gonj, lol
- sensarmy_11

Technically right now he is our 1st line center, there is no question about the talent he brings but unfortunately he isn't gonna win us games by himself, plus Karlsson is only effective if we are capable of winning a draw. I know it may seem like I am being homerish, but by trading away our best forward (as of right now) for arguably one of the best dmen out there he wouldn't probably be able to play at the same level he is in Ottawa, you guys are probably more capable of winning draws than us (seeing as we are like 29th in the league in faceoffs)

centers aren't supposed to be judged by the number of goals they score. you're making a fool of yourself be constantly bringing up that point.

o'reilly is one of the top 3 most underrated players in the entire league imo so it's understandable that you have no idea how good he is or have never seen him play.

I didn't see any comment saying O'Reilly + 2nd for PK and Eller is fair. But probably avalanche fans will.

the majority seem to believe that o'reilly is worth WAAAAAAAYYYY more than eller, and if you can't see that, then you need to work on your reading comprehension

o'reilly and subban have similar value

eller is probably worth about a 2nd rd pick

so o'reilly and a 2nd for subban and eller is pretty close to a fair deal.

The guy has 100 pts in more than 230 games. Stop i with the second coming of Gretzky.

He will be a good 2nd line center in the league and every team that has that kind of guy centering there first line are in big trouble (aka the Habs last year)

i think subban has more value than o'reilly.

plus o'reilly is unsigned which brings his value down even more.

You would have me there had I said that, or if he was the Avs #1 Center. It must be really easy to confuse what a #1 C is in Montreal.

Since every Ranger player is better than every Kings player, you would assume the Rangers made the stanley cup Finals or something lol. So if everybody is great on the team, is Hank that good or is his defense the reason he is referred to as the "King" lol. Only in NY can someone be labeled the "King" when he hasn't won anything and you have Marty Brodeur one mile away with all of his rings.

you need to take off your homer glasses and look at thing objectively. if p.k. was as good as you seem to think he is, he would have gotten his money. as it stands, not even the habs organization think he's as good as you do, hence the reason they waited and waited until he took what they wanted to give him. subban has as many flaws in his game as he does skills.....he may turn into a great player, but he isn't there yet.

The Oil looking hard at an Isles center? Imagine if the Oil get Strome? Geez on that team????? Talk about the rich getting richer. Yeah even if Strome aint NHL ready right now, not like the Oil are contenders this season. Strome being around the same age as many of the Oil's future young stars, he'll develop & grow with tihe rest of them. HOWEVER..... as a Leaf fan & having lost out on getting Turris, It would annot me if Stome is available & the Leafs don't lok at him. Assuming Strome is available which hasn't been confirmed.
- GCHonda

Leading the OHL in scoring...yeah, that's the guy the Isles(who trade no one) are gonna trade. Wake up. Nap time's over.
