no chance, especially with an old, expensive, and useless player added in.

like the other guy said, no point in the habs even trying to acquire him, with pleks, desharnais, and galchenyuk in the lineup.

and besides, the avs would probably want galchneyuk for him anyways.

Depends on the picks that would acompany them, I would guess it would still be a first and may be a 2nd.

don't think it depends on that at all. if the habs send a proposal to colorado that includes kaberle, the avs GM will flat out hang up the phone while laughing his ass off.

eller looks like he's a fringe top six player, but more likely a good 3rd liner.

louis leblanc is older than o'reilly, and still hasn't shown poop at the nhl level.

there is NO CHANCE that trade happens.

He's a great young D who can run a powerplay, we have markov, subban and beaulieu coming in 2-3 years. Have to give something valuable for a player like Oreily

he's 22, and had 60 pts (or 55 maybe), plus he's tough, plays in all 3 zones.

that trade offer was like me saying, from a sens stand point

chris phillips, zach smith, and mark stone

for ryan o'reilly

it would never happen.

Nonis would have to blown away in an offer to trade Phil. Meaning, he'd be looking for close to the eqivalent of what Burke gave up to get him. Would Nonis get that price? I seriously doubt it but that's what Nonis wants so I guess Phil won't get dealt.
- GCHonda

Kessel, like Luongo, would be looked upon as a final piece for a team on the verge. You don't build a team around either.I also doubt a gm is going to trade for Luongo unless he can unload at least half of the contract value of the incoming Luongo deal, cuz Luongo could easily cost the gm his job, frankly I think trading for that contract scares the hell out of most gms, and rightly so.

Since every Ranger player is better than every Kings player, you would assume the Rangers made the stanley cup Finals or something lol. So if everybody is great on the team, is Hank that good or is his defense the reason he is referred to as the "King" lol. Only in NY can someone be labeled the "King" when he hasn't won anything and you have Marty Brodeur one mile away with all of his rings.

he won a gold medal in the olympics and the vezina.

i can't wait until king henrik reminds you why he's nicknamed the king tonight

He might be the King of that island you play on but Quick is the best goalie in the world.

Just dont see them trading him, Subban I think is still a wild card and if he resorts back to his old habbits he could be on the move. I dont think MB or MT will put up with much of his sh!t.

* The flyers signing of Timonen is very important not only for defensive stability, but for the youth of the team. Briere, Timonen, Hartnell and Knuble are invaluable on a team which has very few players in their late 20s. The Flyers, for the most part, are a team of players in their young 20s and mid 30s.

Well poop me not Eklund!

I swear this guy just loves to talk bias about the Flyers. WHAT TEAM DOESNT CONSIST OF 20 AND 30 YEAR OLDS?!?!!?

IF habs and avs are looking at this. pk and ellar for o rielly makes sense for both teams. erik johnson is sucking so far and it doesn't look like he is going to improve much. ellar would fit in nicely for the avs

I would personally take Lundqvist over Quick. Quick has shown he can play at the same level as Lundqvist, but Lundqvist has been doing it consistently for years.

But Kopitar is far better than Gaborik. And Doughty is country miles better than McDonagh.

The Rangers would be making out like bandits in a trade like that. But they would never go for it.

Wait... If Lundqvist is the best, and Quick is top 5, that doesn't leave much room for all of these top 5 goalies that Canucks fans tell us they have....

rags fans think mcdonagh is the 2nd coming of lidstrom so i don't think there's any way we'd be okay with trading him for an currently underachieving doughty. that's not to say that i don't think doughty might be a better defenseman currently i just still wouldn't do it.

as for kopitar > gabby...they're different players. can't really compare them. kopitar is a sick center with age on his side that stacks assists while gabby is one of the best snipers in the league that can score 40 goals a year.
