Honestly, he does lack some hockey sense but his speed, decent size and hands will make him a great player. Plus he's playing with Eberle, RNH and Schultz on the PP.

I said at the beginning of the year , Oilers have 4 first liners and little after that. It is turning out they have 3 or two first liners. Hall is very ordinary to me IMO. I think he is a good second liner and Yak will pass him. RNH is invisible this year. Shultz is very good and after that the team has little to be happy about.

I think this is a fair offer.

RNH was apparently playing through injuries this year, he was great last year so I expect him to return to form soon. Hall is going to benefit from playing with him, Eberle(my favourite of all the Oilers) and Schultz.

I believe the Newell Brown(hired by Gillis, not AV) is in charge of the PP. Bowness is definitely AV's boy though. I'd like to see Gillis at least fire Bowness after this season if this team doesn't deliver when healthy.

I agree with the fact that AV is a good coach, but if he can't get our team past the 1st round, he and HIS staff should be fired. It has been stated many times that he doesn't adjust his style of play until far too late (like game 5 in a seven game series down 3 to 1). And I can't stand the fact that he allows his personal thoughts to dictate over common sense, something everyone in the world can see...but him.

Well in all fairness, the Wild aren't scoring and Suter is logging the most ice time of anyone on the team, chances are the majority of goals scored against the Wild are going to be ones when he's out there. Adding to that he's playing with a group of defensemen that aren't qualified to hold his jock let alone compliment him. Lastly the 2nd best defenseman on the team is a rookie who has 6 NHL games under his belt. The Wild defense is a mess.

Yeah, Gilman and Gillis have lied publicly or used the wrong wording on many different occasions. I remember when they said that Gragnani would be given a qualifying offer and when Gilman said thad Edler wanted top 5 D money and everyone was freaking out.
