Lets say that Ovie scores 70 points and 215 hits(82 game pace), and Duchene gets 50 points and 50 hits(82 game pace again).

Lets say that Malkin scores 100 points with 30 hits(same pace), and Read scores 45 points with 80 hits.

Ovie + Duchene = 120 points and 265 hits
Malkin + Read = 145 points and 110 hits

I'd hardly call that rape, and that's assuming Ovie puts up the same stats as last year when he struggled and Malkin lights it up again with Crosby healthy again(he usually takes a back seat to Crosby).

Last year he had 65(his career low) and that's because he was playing less minutes, Backstrom got hurt and Hunter wanted him to back check. I bet Malkin won't score at a 100 point pace this year unless Crosby goes down.

Told ya. I was close to drafting Daniel over Ovie, but then I saw the hits difference and chose Ovie. I realize that he'll never score 50 goals and 100 points again, but he's still pretty damn good, at least for fantasy hockey.
