No, they were already almost $3m above the cap floor and I think that is without Bailey's $1.1m cap hit. This was to make sure they were above the floor in the event of a trade. Basically, there is going to be a fire sale if they are out of it at the deadline. I'd expect Streit, Nabokov and anyone else to go.

let's see, 0 for 20 on the pp in the last 3 games, on the verge of losing 3 in a row and falling out of the playoffs and to the bottom of the division and what do we see? a complete.lack.of.urgency.

I think in a shortened season with a 3 game losing streak and lack of interested play, it's time for a major move. The problem is Snow's major move is going to be adding LV and bailey to the roster for saturday. Sick of this early season tailspin crap.

Streit has been absolutely god(frank)ing awful tonight. There is no way that C fits and he shouldn't even be in the lineup with this effort. Mistakes I can deal with, playing like he doesn't give a poop is not acceptable.
