It is great, just make sure you have your settinigs on any game updates turned off- there is a delay on my game center, no matter where I am. about 30 seconds to a minute. Desktop computer, iphone or ipad.

For instance all the goals being scored in the SJ game were showing up before I watched the goals, which in a game like that was bothersome

Have not used the Vault but your right it is delayed and will switch in and out of high definition and low def here and there

I know its not smart but I would love to see someone hit Torres with a cheap suspendable hit that puts Torres out forever.

Bickell may be doan if he decides to keep playing the way he did last game. Hope coaches keep emphasizing this to him. Stalberg could also do this and if he does to with his speed finishing checks would be devastating to the opposition

After the Cup victory, the squad seemed to miss having forwards that were able to get back in the attack zone and pressure the opposing defenders with checks...it was as if the Ladd, Eager, Burish subtraction actually gave the opposition as "easy out" of their zone.
I just don't see that as being the case so far this season.
I see the Hawks forwards "getting there."

The all-situation player you want to acquire just isn't available at this juncture, and surprisingly many of these guys, even if not expected to be scoring options, get paid much more than you would suspect.
The perfect candidate is signed long term at 3.1 million until 2017 and he is Martin Hanzal...if you can get 15 goals and 30 points, you take it and feel comfortable with the other side of the guy's game.

I just don't see these all-around players dropping into availabilty, and even the deadline means competition for them and over paying...
Maybe next year? (Becasue the hawks are gonna lose some of their soon to be UFAs, right?

Try looking at the stat for wins and goals for, and the fact that if our team is engaged, will be the best team on the ice every night.

Actually I'd like to see a clean open ice hit to the chest, knocking the wind out of him. As he lies in a daze, a 'Hawk player or two can skate by and simply say, "bumhole".

I also agree with others, karma will catch up to him.

EDIT: Rozner on The Score this morning torched Tippett too; about the coaching staff sitting Torres down and talking to him, like this was the first time the pr!ck ever did something. Think Barry's exact words were, "Dave Tippett can bite me".

It would be just a terrible thing to see Torres block a slapshot with his face.

If Torres actually decides to man up and fight bollig bollig better hold him up and continue to pound him even if he is out cold. If Im the ref I let it go on until bollig is tootired to continue. That will send a message to the league his style of play will not be tolerated

I'm not a big believer in hits for the sake of hitting and if you read my post you'd know that. What the Hawks need is more balance, not for regular season points, but to be a force in the playoffs when it gets harder to play. Right now the Hawks mainly gain access to the opposition's zone with finesse, they need to balance that with some dump and chase and physical puck battles to open up the ice for finesse too. The balance and depth the Hawks had in 2010 is what I'd like them try to recreate.

Just as an aside, am I to take it you were satisfied with their impressive regular season point total last season? Overlooking the fact the Hawks need a more balanced line up to compete in the playoffs makes you a candidate for that 'blind side two hander'.

Since late last year, Doan has been given some media-manufactured squeaky-clean image that is complete BS. This has been amplified throughout the free-agent process (He's a family man, a great leader, blah blah blah), and also through his "stately" participation in the lockout talks.

Fact is, Doan is and always has been a big physical forward who plays with an edge, and isn't shy about taking runs and cheap shots on opponents Here are a couple recent examples -

If you also watch the Shanna-ban video for the Benn hit, he states that Doan is in fact a repeat offender. Thus, you better believe the persona Phoenix - i.e. Torres - isn't all Raffi just being Raffi. It's condoned and encouraged by team leadership.

There was alos a play in one of the early playoff games last year where Doan used his stick to grind Toews's face into the ice after a whisitle. I wish to God I could find a video of it, but it was disgusting. He's got a lot of folks fooled into thinking he's a prototypical hockey captain and all around great guy, when really he is a relatively dirty player.

And not that I dislike that type of player in general, that type of thing is necessary in the game in my opinion. I do get sick of him masquerading as something he's not, however.
