Depends what you consider to be the value of a scorer who doesn't score!!

Can he do something else to help the team?
Take faceoffs? Play well defensively? Hit? Fight? Play on the PK? Be a big presence in front of the net? Dig the puck out of the corners?

And this is where you went wrong. You replied to me and I was replying to someone else. They said Kiprusoff to Anaheim and I said that won't work because then what do they do with Hiller and that their goaltending isn't usually the problem. Considering Hiller was 5th in save percentage when he's healthy, there's no reason to believe Kiprusoff to the Ducks would make sense. By replying to that, you implied that they do need Kiprusoff because according to you their goaltending sucks, when clearly, they have had at least one capable goalie the whole time.

Do you think Anaheim is going to try and get Kiprusoff and hold on to Hiller as a 4.5 million dollar back-up? No chance. Not unless Gillis is in charge of Anaheim too.

Tampa Bay or Washington. Washington probably has no shot this year but under normal circumstances, and with a legit goaltender, they are a contender.

The biggest reason why Kiprusoff won't be moved is because the Flames are too stubborn to trade Iginla and Kiprusoff and start over. But if they wanted to move them, there would be plenty of buyers for both.

Kipper, if moved, will go to a team which has the cap space, needs a goalie, has a young goalie prospect to trade in exchange, and has a chance at the cup.

Under a head coach who isn't completely lost and unprepared for head coaching duties. Adam Oates isn't the right guy for that job. He's in over his head and it's only making it worse for Ovechkin.

Lindback isn't anywhere near as good as Kiprusoff, especially if Tampa Bay wants a shot at making a deep playoff run.

Hawks don't need a goalie, they're set for years.
