Vokoun wanted to play for the Leafs so badly that when he was a UFA, he decided to sign with the Penguins for two years including a NTC.

He doesn't actually want a shot at winning a Cup. He just wants to play for the Leafs.

Wouldn't necessarily mind having Sutter, but I don't think Kulemin's worth it.

And we really don't have much in the way of space down the middle so realistically if this happens it'll be in the off season when they determine what they're doing with Bozak.

Still, they'll need to figure out what to do with Mac first, as I doubt he's worth giving another 3m per deal to...

You're right, he would much rather play for a bad team and miss the playoffs altogether rather than have a chance to not only win a Cup but also replace Fleury who was sub-par in the playoffs.

I was happy not just to see Reimer play well enough to deserve an extended look so far this season, but Kadri and Frattin, two guys who's names have floated around in rumors, have given Nonis reason to hang onto them as well.

It's sad our defence is supposed to be our strength. We miss Gards on the PP and Gunnarsson in our own zone.

No way Columbus does this, But your idea gave me another idea. With John Tavares being the #1 center for the Isles for the next decade. Can the Leafs pry Strome away? I know Leaf fans have a hard on for Neiderieter but Strome fills the Leafs needs for the future more. Would the Isles be interested in Kulemin?
