Sounds/looked like a hip out there, which could be a week or two out.
Hope he is okay.

The problem is Irving played 'well' if in the context that they were not trying to score in the 3rd, only playing 2-deep, to protect him. And he had the benefit of no added stress with a 2 goal cushion. They can't play the same game with Kipper as they can Irving, and they FINALLY started adjusting to hartley's system. hope this doesn't throw a wrench in the progress, even when Kipper returns, as the team has to play a Sutter-type system in front of Irving

I don't understand the concept of a ref. Freedom of speech protects offensive speech, not inoffensive / lame trolling. Which one is worse, talk of scat or an overdrawn paragraph of 'Turek syndrome'. I don't even know if I spelt Turek right b/c I decided not to read it or recall the Young Guns era....and instead, realized my eyes were not more damaged than before.

Free speech is fine and good, but Ek's created this site to talk about hockey. If you want to protest or rant or write anything that falls outside the realms of the code of conduct for this site, you're free to do so, but you'll have to do it somewhere else.

The refs exist to keep these boards clean and accessible so we can all talk hockey together.

"Boy Gagner is playing great. We should trade him now while his value is high."

Me: "That's a stupid idea. We have no center depth."

Him: "Derp! You're a stupid little kid with no hockey knowledge!"

They'll be playing Dallas tonight without 3 of 4 centers. Arcobello and possibly Ryan Smyth will be filling in. Yep. He called it.
