With about 15 seconds in the first, Gustafsson limps down the tunnel toward the dressing room.

@Eklund: In Kimmo the Flyers are getting a solidifying and calming force on the defensive end. It's a very solid signing for the team. Well done.

Now there's something we didn't know.

His solid outlook solidifies my opinion that this was a solid state of fluid affairs.

Gustafsson has been playing and doesn't look to be favoring one leg. Had a couple of good blocked shots there.

We are getting? If he's being resigned don't we already know what he gives us?

I honestly think this guy has 0 hockey knowledge. I give him credit for the idea of this site and getting all the writers together. But i doubt everything he ever says.

Geez, the Bruins' PP makes the Flyers' PP look like a well oiled machine. They just went for an entire 2 minute PP without anything remotely resembling a shot on goal. It was ugly to watch.

What are you saying? Skippy's will is weak against the lure of the female form?

If Kimmo does get resigned, it will probably be more then us fans want. I would suspect at least $4.5 million. If he is going to go the Lidstrom route of year to year with a contract, I don't think he is going to get that much of a rebate off of his yearly salary from his current contract.

Not really shocked on the figure. He would be the best d-man on the market. By going year to year, there are no long-term ramifications with the cap. He certainly is a great mentor to Schenn, and if they move a forward for a young d-man he could do the same.

The Flyers always overpay, not really suprised. They still have two buyouts if they want to create more space in the offseason.

I agree. Timonen has been great and I'm a huge fan. But at this point of his career. If that number is true, it's a huge overpayment.
