Keith was actually lost for 19 min. What was impressive was that the D-core played great, never noticed Keith's absence. The top D-core in the league, very deep.

It's been a fun ride so far. Go Hawks

And we didn't even have Rozival. Our defensive struggles last year were a huge reason we got ousted in the first round. This year I believe we have the D to shut down the other team.

Hey...it seems to have worked for Matt Cooke. Perhaps Torres learned something from having his lengthy unpaid vacation.
- ArlingtonRob

Only the 8 games this season took salary away from him though.

No paychecks in the playoffs.

Dont know if its been discussed much but if Bickell keeps playing like a power forward [great game] he should be moved to the second line
The second line in my opinion is not built to succeed inplayoff hockey when there is less space on the ice and more dmp and chase is necessary
Either sharp or bolland get moved to the third line withmy preference being sharp as the second line center since it worked out well the last time he did it

To BICKELL keep it up and you will be making north of 2 million next year

Apologies not needed. Feel free to jump in at any point. It's a habit of mine dating back to my days in the Navy while on Spec Ops where I watched movies to the point of being able to recite the entire dialog of a movie.

I dont care if the hit was legal or not
I hope the nhl changes the rules or the interpretation of the rules so hits like this are penalized. Call it the defensless receiver rule like in football where you cant lead with the head/helmet and you must hit below the shoulder. If a player cant see the hitter coming you must hit below the shoulder

I dont want to see all the skilled players on the sidelines with head injuries while a bunch of good skating 230 pound fourth lines take runs at each other. Just my $.02

Getting 40 shots on frame and not being able to finish was why they were ousted.

Hit below the shoulder with at least one foot on the ice and the stick blade there as well.

Stray thought: How will this season be recorded? Will this go in the record books as 2012-2013 or just 2013?

In my book: Just 2013
Officially: Probably still be 2012-13
In San Jose: The year of the Desardins/Mayers "incident"

Here's what you do..

1)Put on your Dany Heatley jersey
2)Locate your balls
3)Then gently chill them on some ice

Stay classy, all-star
