I think all you hawks fans are butt hurt your boy got rocked. As you can see no one's feet left the ice until after the hit was made... Desi or Mayers. And hawks fans... STOP DRINKING THE COOL AID FROM YOUR CRAPPY BLOGGER HERE ON BUZZ!!! You fan boys just repeat what you see, maybe if you pay attention to the game you understand a 4 min pp does make a huge difference in a 1 goal game and it does in fact change the outcome when the refs make a bad call to leave it at 4 v 4.

Obviously you cant argue the fact BH scored on the 4 v 4, but you can argue those zebras made the an awful call by any standard which costs the sharks the opportunity that they earned and deserved. Good for the league for rescinding the crappy call and good for Desjardins for rocking mayers and woopin on your boy Keith. Id be more mad your top pair D got his butt wooped by a sharks 4th liner.... Dont worry the sharks will see you again real soon with burnzie healed up and boyle not coming off the flu AND MAYBE Just maybe those dumb cows will actually get the game right.

PS: your blogger should be embarrassed for looking like a complete noob. LEARN THE GAME

"The turning point in this game was the fourth goal scored by Kane but the missed call is what led to that opportunity."

Really? I thought it was Toews pick-pocketing Murray that led to Kane's opportunity?

You left out the part of the post where you catalog the calls the refs missed on the Sharks. You did do that, right?

Save it homer, even the league admits they botched the call....

I think there was a missed call that probably should have been a toews penalty shot as well? you had over half a game left to score another goal to take a lead. if its the last 2 mins your right you got screwed. 30 minutes left equals your own teams fault for losing. maybe a pp goal from you guys eh? It was IMO a bad call but, keith wouldnt have taken a penalty if the hit never happened so no 4 on 4 no powerplay for you none of it. You have a solid squad again this year be happy about that. at least your not a philly fan

The Shaft? Considering the Hawks lost Keith for basically one full period, I'd say the Sharks actually benefited from this play. Trading a hack like Desjardins for Keith = advantage Sharks. Get some Kleenex, take some Midol, and put your big girl panties on...it's one game. Bad calls happen, every game.

I have to kind of agree here. Yeah....refs blew the call, no doubt. But having Keith off the ice for what almost a full period <- advantage Sharks.

Sharks fans trying to blame the loss on the refs sound ridiculous.

Of course, Hawks fans trying to justify the lousy penalty call sound just as ridiculous.

Sharks just aren't as good as their record suggests I'm afraid. Good news for the Sharks - Robinson really seems to be improving the PK!!! Bad news, we're still top heavy offensively, and when other teams shut down our top two lines, we're pretty much hosed.

Agreed about the PK, Sharks seem to definitely be moving in the right direction but really, was it the most important thing? This is still the same team with the same flaws (lack of overall team speed, questionable depth lines etc). Nothing has been done by DW to address these issues. It seems like they thought fixing the PK would magically cure other issues.
I would be very interested to see how the Sharks go through the month of February. The team will be tested, no doubt.

I have to agree 100% here. There are a lot of Shark fans who think the team can never do anything wrong. We lose because of "reasons".

Not sure if you followed the Doug Wilson strategy that close. He always goes overboard in the off-season looking for that one component, while forgetting others. Need more offense, trade away defense get more offense, but no defense. Need better PK, go after PKers, but sacrifice the PP. He always addresses one issue while not addressing all issues. That is a reason that Wilson cannot get the Sharks over the playoff hill. He does not understand that every aspect of the team, scoring, defense, PK, PP and Goaltending always can and should be upgraded when possible. For years we heard the term GRIT, and for years that was Wilson's only off-season goal looking for gritty players. His focus is that of tunnel vision.

Please explain this. Either you left your feet (which he did) or you don't.
- powerenforcer

I saw his back foot coming off the ice as he is delivering the check, but not the front.
