I am so tired of seeing boring 'Wild' games. You guys beat Dan Cloutier sometime last century and suddenly it is a rivalry.

Don;t get me wrong, I like the Wild. They are a legitimate team with a great and knowledgable fan base.... but gosh has the last decade been woefully terrible with a side order or pathetic.

Lets hope this year is the change.

Funny, The Wild, as well as The Avalance and somewhat the Flames have a lot to do with the Canucks success. If you keep handing them the NW crown, they are always going to have the third seat weather they are as good as 7th or 8th is another story.

Sorry, they have the 5th best PP, the 3rd best PK, and have been top 3 in goals scored in the NHL for most of the season, with Evgeni Nabokov in net. They're a playoff contender.

Is it hateful to simply point out that the NY Islanders have enjoyed twice the top 5 draft picks that you're chiding that Penguins fan over since the last time your team won a playoff round? They picked 5th overall in 1990 (Jagr), the 4th top-5 pick in 5 years. It took their franchise until 2002 to hit bottom and receive that many high picks again. The Islanders took a short 4 year break between picking in the top 10 for six drafts and counting after picking in the top 10 11 times in 12 years. The Penguins have won the Stanley Cup 3 times since 1990, the Islanders can't get Lubomir Visnovsky to report to the team. Just saying.
