They sure don't, and for awhile there it was looking so promising. I know the Nucks have bigger rivalries than Minny, but there were some heated games being played between the 2. Cant say I'm disappointed about future re-alignment though

everyone wants to be your rival when you are on top.Canucks have consistently been at or near the top for awhile so fans and media see rivalries with then and other top teams.then there are the idiots at the cbc who keep trying to create some fake rivalry between the Nux and the maple loafs.Canucks have only beaten them 17 or 18 straight times...lols

I would like to make it clear that, after our meeting, Western Canada has decided 4 - 1 that we are excited about this rumour. The one distaining was from Seattle who forgot --- like some of the posters here --- that Seattle is not part of Western Canada.

I am so tired of seeing boring 'Wild' games. You guys beat Dan Cloutier sometime last century and suddenly it is a rivalry.

Don;t get me wrong, I like the Wild. They are a legitimate team with a great and knowledgable fan base.... but gosh has the last decade been woefully terrible with a side order or pathetic.

Lets hope this year is the change.

Funny, The Wild, as well as The Avalance and somewhat the Flames have a lot to do with the Canucks success. If you keep handing them the NW crown, they are always going to have the third seat weather they are as good as 7th or 8th is another story.
