In a shortened season, Washington just might have put themselves out of the running.
I can't see the Isles hanging on to a playoff spot, but the Rangers and Philly will be knocking on the door. Let's assume one of those teams knocks out the Isles, and the other will knock out the Leafs, Canadiens, or Ottawa.
The Habs look good, but I don't know if it's for real. Ottawa is iffy without Spezza. And, of course, we're looking like a bubble team. - Leeman4Gilmour
Once you're more than 5 points from 8th, you're out.
There are too many 3 point games, and with every game being intra-conference you literally can't skid for too long.
Man this team really needs to get healthy. Gardiner needs to come back. We're surviving without Loops, but our D, and mainly our PP needs help |

So the boys managed to get 2 points they absolutley could not afford to squander.
Hopefully they can make good on this road trip and collect points they should be getting. WPG is a good example of such.
And while MTL has played well, those are always 2 points up for grabs - AngryWhiteMale
I thought they needed at least 6 of 8 points this week. So, either 2-0-2 or 3-1-0.
It was rough to drop 2 points to the Canes at home right off the bat, but Winnipeg and Montreal are games they need to win. I bet it'll be Montreal, Toronto, Ottawa, and Carolina in some combination of 7-8-9-10 this year. |

I wasn't surprised about dropping two points to CAR, Ward always plays well in Toronto |

I think I am going to start an official "Bozak Whiff Count" starting tomorrow. We wont count the numerous ones he already had this season. - markmark
If Kessel were a better play-maker, Bozak would tap those in easier. |

Was that the third one? Cause if so, I really liked that one....I haven't seen the new one yet. |

What was the one where he escaped from the cops, boarded a train, took a 14 hour train ride into Russia, and then escaped again at the train station on arrival?
That pretty much ruined the movie and all others in the series for me.
Like, you are the top top-secret killing agency in the world, and you can't figure out how to get a guy who is on a train for 14 hours before he reaches the city that you already know he is going to? |

Oh and I suppose you would do better. You would just like walk right up to Jason Bourne and say excuse me Mr. Bourne and then shoot him in the face. As if you wouldn't start stammering and asking for his autograph, and his help stealing some sh1t from some place.

Has anyone seen Limitless? I just got Netflix, so I'm catching up on a bunch of movies from the last couple years that I never got to see in theaters.
It was a good movie as I watched it, but Wedgie talking about plot holes immediately brought it to mind.
At the end, you kind of sit there thinking, "But hey... what about... huh?" It had a strong concept and interesting cinematography, but it's best not to try to think about it too much or it ruins the whole thing.
Plus, Bradley Cooper is possibly the smuggest douche on the planet. |

Somebody told me that you should never watch Memento more than once, because the second time around, you realize the movie makes no logical sense.
I liked it the first time, so I'm taking that advice. |
