Yes sir.
- Fakepartofme

I grew up a fan of Marvel Comics, and had no interest in the Avengers, but loved the X-men. Right down to X-Force, X-Factor, UnCanny etc etc

But the Xmen series of movies really let me down. Avengers exceeded my expectations. Not even close.

Yes but I always fit in anywhere when discussing movies.

John Mclean anyone?
The first one never gets old....second one was decent...third was great....the fourth I enjoyed....a little over the top....haven't seen the fifth.

No, it really isn't.

The idea of the Leafs just barely failing to make the playoffs should not be "scary" to any normal human being.

It's a game.

- Leeman4Gilmour

the funny part is, its so early, we could go on a small winning streak, lose a couple, another small streak then we get lupul back and who knows...if reimer keeps playing how he is, and we get gardiner and gunnarsson back and we keep up the secondary scoring...i could see us squeaking in...washington looks like there as good as pooched - so thats 1 team we may not have to worry about.

As far as i can tell, they've replaced Ash with a guy named David, and this is him:
http://www.imdb.com/name/nm2057036/?ref_=tt_cl_t2

*sigh*

Bruce Campbell is producing it, but it could just be a case of him wanting to cash in on prior glories.

Nope, female lead, Jane Levy as you simply can`t duplicate the character Ash. Also, both Sam Raimy and Campbell are involed. I am not big on reboots, but it looks fantastic!

Im not a huge comic book fan...but I truly enjoyed the first two Xmen movies and Xmen first class.
Besides the orignal Batman with Jack and the three new reboots (which rock), The first Crow (amazing), V for Vendetta, there really aren't too many comic book movies that I've enjoyed.
I have yet to see the Avengers.
The first Iron Man was decent too.

die hard should be up there ......The Road Warrior sequel was probably the best in that series as well.

and Two Towers for those of us that like Tolkien

But the best sequel ever, IMHO, Godfather 2. Epic if you liked that series.

No they slapped Nolan's name on as "producer" just like they do with Spielberg when he wants money and is willing to sell his name. Even then, Dark Knight Rises was dumb as hell, good movie, but take the fanboy jerking to Nolan's "brilliance" and you get a pretty dumb show with massive gaping plot holes.
- AdamFrench

Yea. IMO, Batman Begins was the best in the series.

but amazing plot hole: Nuke about to go off? Why not put together a massive fireworks show to kill the element of surprise?

The Original is best of the bunch out of all of them made, Bale is the worst Batman and I'm including Clooney, Keaton the best.

Raimey and Campbell are just producers... ie: Here's my money, give me back more.

The director/writer has no feature films on his resume, and the other writer wrote Juno, which, don't get me wrong, was a fun movie.... but about as far as you can get from Evil Dead as possible.

So the boys managed to get 2 points they absolutley could not afford to squander.

Hopefully they can make good on this road trip and collect points they should be getting. WPG is a good example of such.

And while MTL has played well, those are always 2 points up for grabs

In a shortened season, Washington just might have put themselves out of the running.

I can't see the Isles hanging on to a playoff spot, but the Rangers and Philly will be knocking on the door. Let's assume one of those teams knocks out the Isles, and the other will knock out the Leafs, Canadiens, or Ottawa.

The Habs look good, but I don't know if it's for real. Ottawa is iffy without Spezza. And, of course, we're looking like a bubble team.

Haven't been a fan since I traded away all of my action figures for a bag of marbles ....a really good bag of marbles ...in grade 3? I've resented the movies ever since.

Did they make a Spaceballs 2 ....I'd vote for that.

The Bourne Supremacy was better than first, imo.
