Another remake I didn't like, Planet of the Apes, the original was so much better. - LeafMan
That, and you know, the ending made absolutely no sense whatsoever. |

Elf is a great movie.
Talledega Nights is great.
I like to put Curious George on the TV for my kids.
A Night at the Roxbury is tolerable.
He's good in Old School.
And he's in an obscure movie called the Suburbans that I liked.
Other than that, he's just annoying.
And I've never understood the wild love for Anchorman - it just isn't very funny. - Atomic Wedgie

put him back on his normal side.. i think it would help alot. - Dozzer
maybe so, im just not happy with his overall game, from hitting, to shooting, to being a captain. its a spark for the boys when your captain drops the mits to get the team going, thats something hes gotta do once in a while, cranking the volume in the dressing doesnt cut it!
i dunno im just not pleased with dions game at all up to this point. |

I can diss Will Farrell all I darn well please, for every great role he's got 15 bad ones just like Adam Sandler.
Now that Ron Burgundy cat, that's a funny man. - AdamFrench
C'mon ....I'd say it's maybe 1 great for 1 terrible ...maybe.
He's got ...Old School, Anchorman, Wedding Crashers, Taladega Nights, Blades of Glory, Semi-Pro, StepBrothers (that's close to the line I know), The Campaign ....and he was actually good in Everything Must Go. Then you factor in SNL, The Office, 30 Rock, Eastbound n Down.
Just to show you my lack of bias ............I still laugh at Land of the Lost. "He's incapable of rabid course correction! .....Run in a serpentine pattern....Serpentine! Serpentine! .....sun of a tit!" That poop doesn't write itself. |

Gritty reboot, my friend.
Gritty (frank)ign reboot.

dear lord, who are they casting as the lead? |

A known poster on this site who has all our GM answers.
We've been privy to hear the great one speak about what he would do.
We have had time to see what his lineup would look like if he had his way. These guys were supposed to develop into studs and the GM's who moved them will rue the day.
What should be your #1 line today
John Mitchell - Jiri Tlusty - Robbie Earl
Anton Stralman Ian White
Justin Pogge
PLease listen to the guy he knows what he's talking about, I could do the second line but it's just cruel. - tmlfan17

It was like Saturday Night Live skits from the 90s - a slightly funny idea, which they stretched way too thin. |

i think carlyle has been rather specific as to what he expects from him and its not his norm.
might be having trouble executing what carlyle wants
step one: take something off your shot and just get it on net. |

Yeah, the original movie with Heston, as Wedgie said the remake ending was awful, the original had a great ending with the buried Statue of Liberty. |

its flat out low brow humour pure and simple.. if you dont have a taste for it you wont like it.
its not one of those things you can kinda like.. you either like it or you dont. - Dozzer
Oh, trust me - I can do low brow.
Some would say it's all I can do.
I just didn't find that particular low brow movie to be funny. |

The Other Guys is pretty (frank)ing funny.
And Stranger than Fiction was good. |

Ok.
Ovechkin: forgotten his game
Kessel: just a slump
Good. Good. - Pecafan Fan
Ovechkin = still partnered with a legitimate #1 center = game declining for a few years.
Kessel = game not declining for a few years = partnered with 2nd liners, at best. |

yeah thats what is driving me nuts the most, his shot is putrid!
but his phyical element of the game hasnt been what it was last few years...at the start of the year dion LOVED to lace guys with MONSTER hits...those are what the leafs need sometimes to get the boys amped up. |

As far as i can tell, they've replaced Ash with a guy named David, and this is him:

*sigh*
Bruce Campbell is producing it, but it could just be a case of him wanting to cash in on prior glories. |
