I'll re-post the universal Leafs thread post game reactions. You may have a choice of one of the below as your "official" opinion:

A. "The Leafs didn't win properly!"

B. "The Leafs didn't lose properly!"

C. "_________ (insert player) did not play well enough individually to show up on the stat sheet!"

D. "I don't care about stats. _________ (insert player) is not doing the intangible things to help his team win!"

I think I went too far with a joke post directed at Atomic Wedgie, I thought whoever nailed me would've looked a few posts up to see me complimenting AW as my favourite poster. Ah well, will be more careful next time.

For a team as old as the Leafs? Oh the horror.

And yet doesn't play like that consistently. Against the Bruins and the Hurricanes, he was nowhere to be found.

The point here isn't to say he can't get it done, it's to say he doesn't do it often enough.

I could say the something about Seguin who has been invisible more times, has contributed all of one goal on a good team, the hatred is strong with this one.

Apples to oranges. Does Seguin have a reputation for being inconsistent or invisible the same way van Riemsdyk does? Not even close. van Riemsdyk has three years on Seguin. What van Riemsdyk is attempting to accomplish has already been done by Seguin. Where was van Riemsdyk when he was 21? Playing his first games where Seguin was already an All-Star and leading his team in scoring. Not even close.

A lot of past tense in your post.. I live in today's world.. One where Kessel isn't thriving. Some people can see how things will pan out, and others, yourself included..... cant.
